  • Hello constructers, anyone knows if is possible to make an sprite unaffected by layer effects, i mean, for example, i have got a layer with "bevel" effect, so anything inside will be rendered, the thing is if there is a way to place an sprite in the same layer with no "bebel effect?

    PD: I could just place it in one layer behind it, but it would be extremelly helpful if i could realize the adobe mentioned.

  • Hi there constructers, i got a problem making my game, i�m bored of importing the same tile graphic and making it solid in each level created, also the same with sprites and other stuff, so the thing is, is there a way to make a tile database that can be used in any layout without having to create the same thing thousand of times? thaks pals.

  • hello there, i want to place an sprite in z position, i mean for example, the 3dbox can be aplied a depth and a z height right? well is there a way to do this with an sprite? Thanks

  • Hello forumers, am making a simple topdown shooter about an invasion in house planes, i already do the schemes of the houses but i need up side view stuff like lamps, couches, tv, and overall house stuff, do anyone knows any resource site? i tried googling it but no luck so far.

  • Yes i do it!, but there is another problem, i made a variable system to change dimensions of the ligth, that when a private value is 1 it will set a random dimension ant will turn the value to 0, and when the value is 0 it will turn it into 1 every 100 millisecond but the loop is not working, Where can i upload the .cap? maybe mediafire or this page has storage?.

  • Well i have not saved it, i just was testing, but about the sprite, to simulate the light effect i just have to add the same pic to a sprite and add the shadow caster behaviour?

  • Yes changing opacity makes a nice effect, but i wanted to make like an upgrade of a torch, with each upgrade the light musb upgrade its range, so i know how to use variables an values just that i cant resize,.. is there a method?

  • Hi, how can i resize a light via the event editor? i have not seen any option about set width or height different than sprites or others.

    PD: it is intedded to make a light flick..

  • You�re Right! it happens to me, can you believe i was making a castlevania like game? with experience points, skills, abilities like the double jump, a map system that was freking me out!, and some huge maps, but result... i never finished it!, so i might better start with something small.

    Thanks for the advice, i though it was me who was wrong, but it seems to be very common along developers.

  • Hello there, do anyone know if its posible to make an animated 3d cube ?, i mean animating one face of the cube, i want to make a tv, so it must show some images,thanks.

    And other thing, how can i make a sprite to look in the same perspective as a cube?, simulating all the movement like if it was a flat cube with 1px of width?
