  • Why is this bug closed?

    Installed a fresh windows 7, c2 was running fine for some days again..so happy about this.

    I really did change NOTHING in my config, and now it is closing as before.

    Really bored of this stuff and the support here :(

  • Windows is actual, and auto updates activated. Version 108.2 does not fix the problem.

    In the Windows Event Logs, i could find this error through the search function:

    did try it with 103, 106 and 107. Got Win 7 Pro x64 with latest Nvidia Graphics.

    There is no error or anything, c2 closes immediately, without a visible reason.

    I also deleted all plugins, languages etc.

    Where can i find a error.log file or something like that?

    when starting c2, it appears for 0.1 seconds, and closes itself.

    Did try uninstall, reinstall etc...no success.

    Any ideas welcome :)

  • hmn...i have activated the start screen, now c2 closes itself when opening it.

    tried reinstall...same bug.

    searching for the best way to create new instances of groups of objects, like a text-description + textfield + background image.

    can i load layouts inside another layout? is it logical, to use families also for this problem?

    any suggestions to manage c2 run previews on local xampp instead of the integrated webserver?

    The problem is, i want to load external data through ajax, and dont want to export the project everytime to test it.

    but through crossdomain policies, i cant get the preview to load any external files, even with a valid crossdomain.xml in the folder with the files, on xampp/htdocs.

  • Hey,

    first one is the damn-huge filesize that c2 creates for auto-backups of capx. since the original is about 2,5mb, the backed up file is 130mb.

    and the second one, the recent projects dont show anymore for me in the menu, when opening c2.

    where to store the external xml file? in the project folder it does not work for me. does it need to be on a http: adress? can it also be https, like dropbox?

    and what happens if i dont enter a tag?

  • Ok, i've uninstalled C2, deleted the folder, and reinstalled, but the error still pops up.

    So i've reduced the capx and now whole c2 freezes when running the layout.

  • not much to say, no addons or plugins used . it is a simple project created with v84 (stable), and now updated to v100. with 84 it worked.

    i could send you a link with the full capx if you want. i am not able to recreate the bug in a small project, it does only appear in this one. it occours everytime i run the layout.

    my system is win7x64 with latest nvidia.

    The german buttons are cause the UI, my Windows is german, and this seems to be a standard error window.

    It is everytime when i run the layout. When i ignore, the project seems to work fine. didnt find any bugs while runtime.
