  • The problem with making mobile games/apps with C2, is that most of the third party exporters are missing key features of C2.

    (or has extremely low perfomance and a big overhead)

    The only exporter that has "DECENT" perfomance on mobiles is (CocoonJS) which is now unsupported, and is still missing key features. (thats why its unsupported, by the way)

    Your only hope is to wait for a miracle! - and we all hope that C3, will be just that ...

    Regarding the official facebook pluging.

    If i remember correctly it wont work on mobiles, however theres a paid plugin here on the forums that works great on mobiles. And its cheap too

    Color mask would need webgl effects, i think. I remember having some deficulties with that on CocoonJS exporter for mobile, but you could also make image frames, and edit the pictures in a picture editing program, and then just change the frames to the color you would like.

    You can store saved data with Webstorage (works great on mobiles)

  • Egyptoon i couldnt agree more, C2 or C3 needs a custom exporter for mobile.. There's no way around it, simple as that.

    Right now perfomance is really bad on thirdparties, and lack of bugs control will ruin this in the long run.

    If Scirra could find it in their heart to make it, im SURE it would be the absolute best game/app developing tool for mobiles, period.

    Ashley Maybe you can start a crowfunding project to hire a talented team, for a custom exporter for mobiles?

    ps. The Haxe project looks awesome! - Scirra should consider something like that!

  • I seem to have found a little bug on the share plugin.

    When i share to facebook, it takes the title and metadata from the URL that im redirecting too. (in this instance Google Play)

    So i cannot show my score or make any specific title on facebook.

    Any ideas?

    Im trying to create a simple fm radio app, but i havent found anything about this on the forums.'

    i just did some reading, its not really supported on most mobiles.

    So instead, is there a way to stream from internet radios like Shoutcast?

    But this dosnt seem to work:

    Am i missing something?
