Distance(Object1.x,Object1.y,Object2.x,Object2.y) Will give you the distance between 2 objects.
without thinking about it, I would make the opponent react on a random occasion.
Lets say, X seconds after you (the player) hitted the ball back. (where X is a random number between 0.5 & 2 seconds maybe)
Do this and don't include the phonegap.js file...
Do not include phonegap.js in the zip
this should be fixed in an upcoming release according to Ashley
ow ok...
yes i know phonagap says that, 'upload an archive' means 'upload a zip'
a zip = a compressed folder/files
in this case: the files u get when u pressed export in C2
So basically you want 3 buttons to have a normal state, a mouseover state and a clicked state?
And this with as less events as possible ?
sorry to sound harsh, but if you don't know how to zip a folder without a certain file, you aren't gonna be able to make a decent android game i'm afraid.
good luck though
There is a small number in the statusbar at the bottom right... next to the aprox. filesize
If u haven't found it, plz ask for a screenshot :p
There is a game called furries made by ranma:
scirra.com/forum/furries_topic49737.html
I am also testing out the export to android, so far phonegap seems the best solution.
Here you can follow my progress:

apk available on that site
i would say post your capx so i can taka a look, but i won't be able to edit it because i have the free version :(
Develop games in your browser. Powerful, performant & highly capable.
fixed it for you (at the same time u got less events now):
http://dl.dropbox.com/u/65731657/toggleable.capx
I've had to put Music = 1 ? 0 : 1 because your frame 1 was the 'off' state and frame 0 the 'on' state
If you switched the frames you could use 'set animation frame to Music'
I also added a debug textbox to track your variables, i've left it there so u see how to do it
I would say C2 & Phonegap =)
Basically my walls have the solid behaviour (they have a height and width of minimum 32 pixels)
and the player object has the platform movement behaviour.
Adding the solid behaviour to my player object didn't helped either.
thanks jbadams, nice info there
was wondering some things myself and your post answered it
can u post your capx plz ?
