  • Hello, I was promoting Construct 2 to some colleagues from my university when someone came up with the following question:

    "Let's say I published a game on the App Store using Construct 2 as a prototype and then I want to migrate it in a future update to Unity, how could I keep the scores of the players? There is a way to access the Web Storage using Unity? "

    And I'm here to pass forward this question because I'm not sure what could be done in this case.

    Ashley , what can be done? Anyone?

    I do not know if that's asking too much, but it would be possible to include in the plugin, access to the "Back Button" of smartphones?

    There is already an addon made by a user of Scirra that performs this function, but it would be interesting to be maintained in the official plugin.

    As you can see all the code, is there any chance of inclusion?

    I believe it is something very necessary, but do not know if it would be difficult to include this feature.

  • ludei, I tried to disable lazy loading but could not find the words referring to it, the nomenclature changed or am I looking in the wrong file? Where do I disable lazy loading?

  • Just wondering, the methods "image.dispose image.dispose && ();" not yet been added to construct right? Using only the lazy loading, switching between layouts is too slow, with many loadings.

    I like how the performance improved with this new approach, but do not want to go back to the old method just to get rid of these loadings.

    Some light at the end of the tunnel ludei? Any news that can help with this part? XD

  • I'm testing a few things with the behavior "platform", and I wonder how I can make the ground sink, and then return to normal position when the player jumps? I tried some things but not getting one smooth effect.

    My idea is to give this effect when the player jumps onto the ground. And then make the block fall, if he stays too long on him.

  • Okay, so the part of lazy loading is still not working as it should, or if I change this piece of code to the end I get the expected result?

    Briefly, for me to take advantage of the latest changes without this problem in loading, what should I do? I read everything but still do not understand the exact steps to be taken.

    Should I be using the latest version of the plugin as well?

    And limit the memory usage interferes in what way?

  • I believe that all forms of knowledge and information that can be passed is valid for sure. Many people will prefer video lessons, as well as the other tutorial written.

    I like both, but do whatever suits best with the time you have ^^

  • I'll spend the day experiencing the news, not yet quite understand how'll take a real use of it, because I did not feel a big difference in performance from the previous version to this.

    I'm waiting for posts to be able to study this part a little better, hopefully I'll find some answers.
