  • I've got a really quick question. Does music effect performance? I couldn't find it anywhere that says it does. So can somebody please tell me?

  • You talk about your game and yet you don't post a link or even mention the name?

  • Thanks guys. I'm a bit of a slow learner. Just implemented it, and it works perfectly.

  • It's the tablet itself and only the tablet. I'm pretty sure I have the same exact tablet and my games run very slowly on there too. You really shouldn't waste your time on this. People who have bought the tablet and used it for gaming or for any other reasons have probably given up on it and moved to something greater. It's a sucky tablet, simple as that.

  • Would this be a sub event? Since this happens after the enemy dies. I'm a bit confused on how to make this happen. Should I make two Global Variables, which is what you mean by Compare two variable?

I apologize, I just need more clarification.

  • I want a object to spawn randomly on death of a enemy or if I can make it a little more common than random, how do I do it?

In this case, there's multiple enemies on screen and they are constantly being killed. So I want to make it so an object is randomly dropped from them after their death.

I would like to be conscious while working on my game. Haha.

  • Hey, there's also the option to test your game on the CocoonJS App launcher. Try that. My device (HTC One M7) doesn't experience any heating from there.

  • The Green circle is what I was looking for the most! Thanks Rayki. I got rid of the text box in my own version and added an event in place of it.

Although how do I make the object come back to it's original position? The block rotates 90 degrees, how do I make it reverse back 90 Degrees?

  • I'm simply trying to turn an object.... The rotate actions are instant, meaning if I set an object to rotate to a certain amount of degrees, it happen instantly. What I need to happen is for the object to actually turn to that angle and stop.

  • Yes, this is a completely beginner question. But I'm having a difficult time figuring out how to make something rotate, real time to a certain amount of degrees and then stop....

Then I'll have events rotating it back and rotating it again based on different situations. Is the custom movement best for this? The rotating behavior simply makes something spin, I need something to rotate to an angle and stop.

  • Welcome to Construct 2!

To the left you'll find Layout Properties, on layout properties you'll found Project Properties. Hit on "View"and you'll find Window Size. You can change it just like Layout size.

I had the same exact question when I started using Construct 2. lol. Be sure to read the manual, try the beginner tutorial and reach out to all the resources this site has to offer. Of course the community is here to help you as well.

  • ARE YOU KIDDING MEE?!?
