  • codah Are you using the right orientations for each Portrait/Landscape tab & uploaded all the dimensions?

    I'm just wondering because my splashscreens are fine on Galaxy Tab 3 (1024 x 600, ~17:10) & Archos 80 Cobalt (1024 x 768, 4:3)

  • I don't think there's much you can do about it, besides designing it for a smaller resolution (leave space around the edges)

  • I couldn't find the post but if I recall correctly, there are no plans for native exporting. Having to maintain the exporters as well as the engine would be impractical.

  • Maybe a third-party system would be suitable? I feel that voting systems are not just for the dev team but for the community too, to see where their own ideas stand against others.

    TheWyrm I think Tom is busy on making the new arcade which will have support for 3rd-party plugins.

    Also, +1 for a disabling plugins feature, had an issue recently where a plugin that I required for exporting was preventing preview in browser from working, meaning I'd have to build (XDK) every iteration to test on device...

    Thankfully, it's been fixed now but for things like the previously mentioned FGL, it'd be a big help in cross-platform exporting as you only need one project instead of 2.

  • vancouver Yup, that's how Google Play works... searching for exact terms is practically useless unless your app has a sufficient amount of installs/attraction. Much like other media, the more popular content ranks higher in search while the less popular stuff gets pushed to the bottom.

    Terms like "piano" are very generic and will get lost in the many piano apps on the store nor do I suspect there are many people searching for terms including "pre". I think you can use google keywords tool to figure out the best keywords to add to it for better ranking.

  • Ashley Also just noticed that you can't see what text has been selected if the keyboard appears on top of the textbox.

  • Yes, first-party exporters are not coming anytime soon... PhoneGap is supposedly going to be the choice for exporting to iOS 8

  • Ashley Well... it floats above the layout and sometimes I'd like text input to be available when an image is tapped or an event occurs (e.g. game starts, text opens automatically) Not having to use the text box would also free up some work-around manipulation events I'm having to use.

  • Ashley Would it be possible to add text input functions (crosswalk supported) without needing the textbox? Similar to what CocoonJS has.

    Edit: Also, the LocalNotification plugin seems to have a dependancy for PhoneGapLocalNotification_plugin.js which is preventing Construct 2 preview in browser from working, is there a way to bypass that somehow?

  • +1, not quite sure why default is 5... I hardly ever use animations, and if I do I set it through events. Additionally, I'd imagine most of the time you'd want to tweak the speed to your suiting so 0 as default would make sense?
