  • I don't know if someone/everyone is experiencing this but for the past few minutes, my badge count keeps increasing. First I had 20 badges awarded, now I have 34 and when I click on the red button above the forum, I get the Runtime error thingy.

    I'm guessing something's wrong with the forum. Help!

    PS. I kinda like getting so many badges LMAO! =P

  • I think there may be a workaround here. I haven't really checked for myself the all of the expressions physics can do for C2.

    I was able to do this before in CC and all I did was:

    'If A collides with B then disable Solid' (or something like that). You may also add a condition where if they're not colliding, then Solid is On. Of course, I needed to do it with families which is currently absent in C2.

  • This is neat! Totally helpful! Maybe someday we can make a book about this entitled "Construct 2 For Dummies" :P. But I think that's only when C2 grows so big already.

  • Yeah, I mean, what if non members would like to try out games in the arcade and found out that most games are actually UNFINSIHED. That may lead them to think that C2 has never produced a FINISHED game.

  • I was looking for a game builder software for our thesis in the university. I was thinking of making an AI like thingy as the focus of our thesis. I went to a small local convention about softwares in my town and one of the seminars there was about game development. I joined and CC was being talked about. So from there I tried it out and here I am still. =). BTW, we passed the thesis subject thanks to CC and graduated! Cheers! I'm working right now in an IT Company.

    I live in the Philippines, so I would probably need to convert my Philippine Peso to either a US Dollar or Euros, I checked the latest and hopefully the accurate Peso-Dollar exchange rate on Google and it said: 1 U.S. dollar = 44.1306267 Philippine pesos

    So in my conversion, 32 US Dollars would be 1412.18 Philippine Pesos. Is it safe to say that I'll pay my friend 1412 Pesos and he'll purchase C2(through gift) on his Paypal account for me through my email address?

  • I'm intending to buy C2 around next week due to the "price hike" in the next 2 weeks. I'm just wondering if its possible for me to use my friend's Paypal account to buy C2 since I don't have a bank account whatsoever so I'll just be handing out to him the exact amount and he'll just buy it through his Paypal account.

    My question is this, will the license be under his name since it was his account that was used to buy C2? If so, is it possible to change the license to my name?

  • Yeah, well, this thread has been idle for like 2 years now. But anyway, I was able to make something like it, it wasn't a full application but I treated it like a test. Although I still have problems with the images :P.

  • I was thinking of making a simple "text-based" game for my little friends using CC without the need of DirectX and I think I would be able to pull it off using only the App Mode of CC. However, to make it more "colorful" somehow, I'd need some images. So I was hoping if its possible to have a plugin that works somehow like a sprite plugin for CC's App mode. It doesn't really need to have the same functions, so long as I can display some images. Is this possible? Thanks in advance! :D
