  • Hi,

I should had thought about this!!! This is very simple to resolve hahaha!

Thanks a lot for the enlightenment!

  • Thanks for your answer. Unfortunately, it doesn't resolve the issue. Does anyone else has a clue on how to do so? Thanks!

  • I have finally received my license! Look look look! I got an early adopter badge! I'll continue my game's development tonight! YEAH RIGHT!!! :D

  • Hehe, I hope it won't be long as I'd love to continue the development of my game hehe, I love to use C2 :D Don't worry, the minute I receive my license I'll update the thread :D

  • Thanks!

I'm almost done with the main functionality of my game, I already have done one complete level.

All I have to do now, is wait for my license to make more levels and fix some little bugs, and you'll see what I did hehe :D

  • Try Construct 3

Develop games in your browser. Powerful, performant & highly capable.

Try Now Construct 3 users don't see these ads
  • Think about the possibilities. Think outside the box.

What's one of the oldest and standard way of controlling a game? Game controllers. You want to use game controllers? I'd use a simple way : make a simple executable container catching game controller's inputs and sending it to the inner-browser as keystrokes.

That is only idea #1, and I've got plenty of them so far hehe, like publishing. Publish on Steam, on download websites, etc.

    And don't worry, I'll stay on C2 ;-)

  • Oh that's too bad :-( I can't wait to get my license... I hope to obtain it by the end of the week...

  • Oh second time I got:

    Error: Message Not Posted

    Spamming is not permitted!

You have exceeded the number of posts permitted in the time span.

    Please try again later.

On my first message of the day haha, and the message got posted anyways..

  • Thanks for answering but I even got the error trying to reply on my own thread and then I retried and it worked :-/ hehe

  • Hey,

Thanks for this! I've been looking at your website and I can say you got some very nice skills! And those tutorials looks awesome as well!

I have good photoshop skills in photo manipulation, etc but not in creating original content. You made me download Inkscape!

I'll try out some of your tutorials for sure, if I can make all my own sprites I would be SO proud! I'm very creative and I've been composing music for years, but never had the chance to learn to draw well hehe.

edit: Some of your character models are VERY nice!!! I don't know if you ever made one but I'd like to request a "how to draw streets and building" tutorial. Using this kind of view : That would be a very nice help for me hehe :P

    Thanks again!

  • also unpack your sprites with alfred sprite unpacker to remove white

OMG I wasn't aware of such program! THANKS!!!

  • Sorry for bumping your thread as I don't have any answers but I'd like to know that as well! Maybe saving to the disk to reload preferences, variables, save games from it? Thanks for asking, I'll be watching this thread :)

  • Hi!

I'd like to know, is there any board or email address to send support request concerning licensing?

I've purchased one using PayPal, but unfortunately PayPal "wisely" chosen to pay with my bank account instead of my credit card... So I guess I'll only get my license in 6-8 days instead of... like yesterday? hehe

I wanted to know if it would be possible to get it right now since the payment has already been initiated, (the money is off my bank account and should be on paypal in the next days).

I'd like to put some folders in my project (tidying it up a bit!) and also use the configurations panel which seem to contain interesting stuff for features I'm trying to implement into my current game.

Thank you very much, and keep up the amazing, super awesome work! C2 is my app discovery of the year!

[ On a different note, I often get "Not enough permissions to post" pages when I try to post on the forums. I don't know if it's normal behavior or a bug? ]

  • Hi!

In the game I'm currently making there's many level and I'd like to add a layout between level showing stats and which level is next.

The problem is that I don't want to create multiple layout for each levels. I'd like to re-use the same one so that is why I'd like to:

At the end of a level, switch to my "between" layout and set its global variable LevelNumber to where it's going to go next and make a button to start the next level.

So the second question is : Is it possible to dynamically load a layout? Like Set layout to "Level_ + LevelNumber" ?

    Thanks a lot!
