  • Hey! Thanks for sharing! I'll look into that, seems interesting. :) Although I think working on xml file(s) for a whole game must be hard work. For which type of game do you use this?

  • Haha, very nice! xD How long did it take to do it? :)

  • Hi everybody!

So I was working on my dialogue tool (advanced editor with dedicated player), and I realized I had no idea of how you guyz handled dialogues in your games. I'm kind of curious, so here is a little poll !

    1. I don't need to manage my dialogue. I only have a few text along my game.
    2. Directly in my eventsheets
    3. I use external files
    4. I use third party plugin
    5. Other

Thanks and good luck for your projects!

  • Very nice! An impressive work on graphics indeed! Reminds me of Cuphead, especially with the boss bird. Added to wishlist. ;) Keep up the good work and good luck for the commercial launch!

  • Try Construct 3

Develop games in your browser. Powerful, performant & highly capable.

  • Love the animation and the overall sensation of feedback (screen shaking, zombies taking shots etc...). Looking forward to it on PC. :)

  • Hi mercuryus !

Played your game yesterday (didn't see new level), and it's pretty nice. :) The game is challenging, even though I find it a bit unbalanced between the harmless ennemies, and deadly spikes. x)

Graphics are good too! For some reason I particularly like the flame on the staff before we shoot. There are some controls bugs (I sometime fell through bridges without knowing why), but it doesn't feel like it's incapacitating.

Another point : The fact we must get "coins" to load our shoot feels strange. Maybe you should change the coins appearance or authorize a sequence of shoot before reload?

Anyway, keep up the good work, I'll try next level soon. :)

  • Unity has subscription as well, beside the free version. But thats a real engine

lwgames Non-sense. How do you define "real engine"? Construct can allow people to do games - good games from what I saw until now. That's all a "real engine" is supposed to do. You prefer Unity to Construct : that's personnal.

  • Hi jugger87 !

Did you try "Move to object" common plugin action? After you recreate a sprite that is supposed to be behind the tilemap, you used this action to instantly but it behind specific tilemap.

  • I own a C2 license on which i'm working for a very specific project, a dialogue tool, so that C2 and C3 users can incorporate it in their own project.

However I definitely intend to get my subscription to Construct 3. There are more and more interesting features. Text effects, new debugger, new functions, new behaviors, Timelines... As someone said : It feels like a new software at every new features. That's worth a subscription.

  • Clearly the game is not really fun if you intend to win. :p But maybe you could turn things around and call your game "1 player pong TRAINING". For example the game would be to not take any ball in some amount of time.

  • Hi !

A nice first game! Not so easy. :p

I agree with mercuryus, with a smoother movement of Simon, maybe the possibility to jump down through platform and lower the camera, the game would be more enjoyable.

Good luck for the complete version!

  • tunepunkTotally agree with that. That makes creation even more intuitive and fun!

To me that's Construct power : getting better and better, always.

    Keep onto that, please!
