  • What are some options that people would like to see in the settings? I've gotten feedback repeatedly on whether or not walls should be transparent, do you guys think that this should be adjustable by the player? Hope to hear back from some of you viewers

  • -------------0.0.12.0---------------

*Added water effect to blood pools (very small effect)

    *Slightly expanded the Arena maze

    *Introduction of a 'proper' menu

*Reduced how much damage bullets do to player, this makes the game more forgiving

*Changed music on the menu layout

*Menu music plays during levels as well, but at a lowered volume

  • Thank you AceWay! We're actually going with the black outline on the left

  • Love it! Keep up the work man, looks better and better with every update I've seen

  • Want to let you guys know that development is still going strong

The project now has a great 2d artist involved, WildRoosterGFX .

Here are some samples of the great work he is doing

I am already doing a couple bigger projects, but I would be interested in doing some simple mobile style games with you to build up both of our portfolios. I have a game on the playstore now even, that you could redo the graphics for it and add it to your portfolio if you wish. Here's the link to that game https://play.google.com/store/apps/details?id=com.webdesignwithtyler.trixel

  • I see the game licenses on the Scirra store, but don't see comments or ratings on any I've looked at. I'm curious because I would be interested in trying to make a game to sell there.

  • Game is good, but I personally think the shadows are too dark.

    Keep up the good work!

Thank you! I have an artist working with me now so the game will be getting some huge changes all across the board pretty soon

  • ***OUTDATED***

I'd like to announce here that I've put Escape is Possible, in it's current state, on itch.io to play in browser. At this time the project is being developed into what is essentially a completely different game. The next time I post an update it will likely be announcing a demo release of the outcome of the transition of this project into a 'real game'. Until then, I'd like to say thank you for everyone who gave me feedback and has played the game on the Scirra Arcade

Here is the link to my itch.io profile to play the game there, or to watch for news on the development of the project:

  • Thanks for the help I will absolutely check out the link!

I absolutely agree on that last part, I'm only seeing Steam as a long term goal

  • If you want many people playing your game, this is not the right place. The arcade is more an hosting platform than a way to get an audience.

But in my opinion, yes you should upload a new version and hide the old one. Some people browsing the arcade could discover your game (the improved and better version)

Thank you for your reply. When the game is in a more complete state, where would you suggest uploading it to? I feel like it would get lost in a sea of much better games if I were to upload it on to a site like kongregate. At a much later stage of development, or maybe with a different game, I would like to try to get a game on steam, but before that point I want to choose a platform that I can release a demo on to get some people interested in the game.

  • Nice job with all the animations and piecing them together, I was impressed with the different hit reactions

  • Try Construct 3

Develop games in your browser. Powerful, performant & highly capable.

Try Now Construct 3 users don't see these ads
  • I see top games like Biogun had hundreds of plays on even the first days after it was put on the Scirra arcade. How do people accomplish this? I have a game, no where near as polished, called Escape is Possible and my question is this: after the game recieves a graphic overhaul and I change/polish a lot of game features, should I then upload the game as a new game instead of just updating it? I could rename the old game to Escape is Possible - Old Version or something along those lines?

Please let me know what you guys think

  • Thank you, I don't know how I didn't see that
