  • I told student I was working on fixing the file - Unzipped the original file looking at how to fix it, but in his all knowing wisdom - he deleted the file from the server while I as looking. So I have the unzipped folder - but not the original capx file.

Thanks for the link to backups - this will solve a lot of issues.

  • I am the old man here having once sold my Atari game system to purchase a computer. (Yea - real real old when you consider that I got a Vic20)

I am a one man technology department in a rural high school that has added game making classes to the curriculum. We started using Construct this spring and look forward to using it more thoroughly in the next school year.

My background is in teaching programming - currently teaching Java in our programming classes.

A big thanks to all who have contributed to the tutorials on the site here.

  • Also getting the unable to unzip error.

Unzipped and attempted to run from the folder - said a specific graphic was not in a folder - so I added the file to the textures folder.

Now gives me message that file is not available over in some temp folder - despite being available and running from the folder on my desktop.

Even tried putting the file in the folder - rezipping the file - renaming to capx.

    None of this worked.

Frustrating for the student in my class who lost a weeks worth of work.

    Any other ideas ?
