  • Great tip!

  • And I can't believe I didn't look to the examples before posting. Thanks for the info, and thanks for the effort. Much appreciated!!

Ugh. I knew I had seen it before.

  • What is the best way to simulate a flashlight effect?

    Example: Here

Currently, in the example, I am using a large sprite with a transparent image with a hole in it. This sprite follows the mouse. For it to work correctly, the sprite needs to be much larger than the image behind it.

Should I create a small sprite/image, and change the size after dropping it on the layer (or runtime).

Is there a way different way I can do this?

FYI: The example above was the very early beginning of a POC for a game we were working on. <img src="smileys/smiley1.gif" border="0" align="middle">

    Thanks!

  • You can include an event sheet in another. Right click on the main event sheet, and select Include Event Sheet.

  • Besides preview mode in C2, I don't believe you can run your exported game locally due to browser security.

Best bet is to use Dropbox (mentioned in the links above). Or you could set up IIS or another web server locally.

I use the Dot Net service Webdev.WebServer.exe.

  • Yay! Tits in ... Wait a tick...

I liked it a lot, and am looking forward to you adding more content.

Although, might have a hard time explaining to the wife why I am playing Tits in Space.

Stick with Starborn. <img src="smileys/smiley4.gif" border="0" align="middle" /> It fits the story line you describe. Tits in Space sounds like the games I used to try and make on my C64 when I was a kid. <img src="smileys/smiley17.gif" border="0" align="middle" />

  • Too fun!!! Great game!

  • Let me try some:

    Flying babysitter

    .

    Law signing

    Fence painting

    .

    Sexy possum

    Doubtable lawyer

    .

    Procrastination

    <img src="smileys/smiley36.gif" border="0" align="middle" /> Too funny!

  • Love the game play and the awesome graphics! Can't wait for more!! <img src="smileys/smiley32.gif" border="0" align="middle" />

Couple spelling/grammar mistakes in the paragraph for Reaha. And clicking on her word balloon takes me to my quarters.

    Love the joke about the dog, though. <img src="smileys/smiley1.gif" border="0" align="middle" />

    Nice work! Looking forward to your updates! <img src="smileys/smiley1.gif" border="0" align="middle" />

  • Fun Game! I kept sliding off the platforms. :-)

FYI - Finishing Level 5 took me back to the main menu instead of level 6.

  • Thanks guys!

Yes. Initially I had it set for full screen, but had to remove it for the Arcade version.

And I had to pull a few plug ins that I wanted to use as well.

I did make the graphics smaller to account for the lack of screen real estate. I will see about updating the sphere color.

I see what you mean by the controls. Most of the games I have played have used WSAD for controls, so that is why I implemented them.

I will add in the arrow controls as another choice.

The boss - I tried a few ways to indicate the remaining health without updating the graphics (I'm lazy, and not very good at it).

My main testers, my kids <img src="smileys/smiley1.gif" border="0" align="middle" />, told me the same thing.

Currently, the 'lights' flash quicker the more damage is done.

Thank you very much for the feedback!!

A few things I have on the to do list before making more levels are:

    Create more power ups

    Update graphics for power ups

    Fixing a few bugs

Thanks again! Any other feedback is appreciated!

  • Update - 0.04

Updated Volume Control on Title Screen

Added Sphere Spinner - [W] when active

    Minor Graphic Updates
