  • Ah thank you. That was a simple fix.

  • LukeW thanks for the try, sorry for the lack of details

Here's my example. I want the object to stay perfectly on the path instead of falling off or shaking.

  • I want to have objects on escalators that are going downward and are also moving left and right, while the object stays perfectly in the middle moving downward (with it's own speed)and not shaking, etc.

    1. There's a line of objects moving down the escalator constantly and it isn't a loop, they meet a definite end at the bottom of the escalator.

    2. The escalator moves left and right frequently.

    3. The path can not be a solid, because it will interact with other objects.

How can I keep the objects moving downward perfectly on this moving path?

  • Thanks guys, that was encouraging.

Here's a ship concept. I'm working on making their concepts stronger. I know I have a long way to go, but I really like making ships like this. A personal project in mind.

  • I'm not trying to get hired. I just want to work with a coder who's probably learning just like me. They'd probably end up with some cool artwork even if it's a silly game or it could be something pretty cool over all.

  • I can Skype or Slack. I don't have any cohesive works to show as I have been learning in school.

These are recent. I have some Graphic Design work and Typography skills from class as well. I want to build my portfolio.

  • I'm looking to build my portfolio.

If you want to make a game with the following I'm your guy:

Spaceships, Mecha, Zoids, insects, weapons, surrounding environments, space, cities, skies.

I want to push myself with a group to make a good looking game and build my art portfolio. As long as you can make a game in C2, communicate at least 2 days a week, and are dedicated I would love to make the art for your game.

I work with vector and raster art, not really into pixel art.

  • Thank you so much, this works perfectly!

  • I want to be able to reference a tile location on a tile map so on Right Click - Player moves to tile instantly no matter how far it is as long as it doesn't contain a solid object.

I am hoping to be able to do this with as few objects as possible for maximum fps.

I hope this is very clear. If not please tell me what you need.

  • Thanks, I would like to work on a mech game, or a shoot 'em up (in space or just flying and fighting in the air).

  • Hey Scirra users,

I'm looking for a partner that knows how to do a game from start to finish with familiarity, and doesn't mind using art in the style that I am comfortable working with.

I'm learning better drawing techniques and animating currently, but I'm not proficient enough with C2 to just bust out a game. I just want to do the art and help with concepts and ideas if needed.

So if you don't mind using my style I'd love to work with you to build a game in a few weeks, a month or two. Not a huge project, but I do want to see it go to android and iPhone markets (50/50 split). I don't have a lot of animation examples because I have been trying to come up with something simple enough to manage on my own. However I have been practicing.

  • I've sent you a reply.

  • Hello Scirra users,

I'm an artist who's like some of you tired of working alone. My goal is to create relatively simple mobile games that accomplish a few goals:

    1. create polished products that show great revenue potential

    2. create a fan base

    3. be able to fund larger future projects with paid positions (not that I can't pay a little something now)

*Of course fair revenue share would be a part of this deal, but this is my future profession.

For now all I need is these roles

Artist- One who can color and polish what I produce. (Freedoms will be discussed as I don't want to micromanage your artistic vision.)

    Menu maker!

C2 programmer - One who knows how to implement multiplayer functions for wifi play and create an endless runner.

C2 programmer - Someone who can implement leaderboards, social media buttons

    Future:

I know marketers and people who would give me professional advice. Once we get there we can get to that point in prototyping/ rough drafts we can get a music maker.

    What I offer:

Concept Art/Final Product - I can color stuff so if I have to do all of the art that'd fine.

Game mechanics/ gameplay and menu layouts sketch out in detail. Everything up for discussion to develop best layout flow and most fun game mechanics.

You will never be lost for what to do.

If you PM me I will give you art samples and examples of the simple first game I'd love to make.

I'm in Eastern TimeZone -5 gmt. I would like to talk with this small team of about 3 people via Facebook/Skype so we can collaborate. I can work 5 days a week. I've been working alone trying to come up with a project that one man can muscle but it's just hours creating really cool designs that would take a few more people. Ergo I already work on game design hours a week. My budget to spread across all of the team would be $150-$200 a month USD.
