  I'm fairly sure someone who knew what they were doing could steal your graphics/sound pretty easily. Your code would also be easily stolen but it would be almost impossible to edit if you used the minify option.

  You should start by making smaller games to familiarize yourself with the engine. Then you will see that what you want is quite simple ;)

  If you are planning to make a really good game, it might be a good idea to get up a fun prototype, then put it on an artists website asking for someone to split profits. Of course, only do this if you are very serious about the game!

  I did this and got multiple offers.

  I think you just need to subtract their velocity from the player's velocity, when he is on one.

  Maybe do a sprite on the ground in combination with the particle effect? You could make the splatter look sort of like what the particles would look like. So you'd want something like this: get hit, spawn particles, small time delay, spawn splatter.

  You are using 'bullet - pick instance with UID' instead of 'enemy - pick instance with UID'.

  Just think of UID as a number that is unique to every instance of every object in the game.

  Sure! You will need an instance variable on the bullet called "enemyUID" or something. Then, when the enemy shoots the bullet, set this value to enemy.UID.

  When reflecting, use the 'pick by unique ID' expression to shoot it back at the correct enemy.

  boolean, I think the Workshop does support software. If you have a look at game maker you can see some games that have been uploaded there.
