  • I'd probably not recommend a circle, as projectiles should follow a parabola.

However, I know an easy way to solve your problem.

    Set arrow angle to:

    angle(0,0,arrow.physics.vectorX,arrow.physics.vectorY)

Let me know with sqiddster if that doesn't work.

  • This is a very advanced technique. Tiny Wings had the advantage of vecors and whatnot to make a single layout feasible. A long layout like this must be done programmatically in C2, which means you will need to be VERY comfortable with arrays and similar concepts.

Honestly, if you are a beginner this is unfortunately probably not the project you should be attempting at the moment.

  • I'd actually question Ashley 's judgement regarding these parameters. I understand it's more 'beginner-friendly' this way, but experienced programmers and even amateur graphics users can be thrown off by something that's not 0-255.

  • There is software available to do this for you, then you can download the sprites into C2. I'm OK with C2 not supporting this as it's a largely obsolete technique.

  • I'm actually interested in this as well. Can't look at the capx's at the moment but the issue you mention makes sense.

  • This is something I personally wouldn't use physics for. Get an image of the wheel with pegs, and an animation of the peg flicking. position them properly then you will be able to set up a formula which takes angular position, number of pegs, and wheel radius into account to make the peg flick at the right moment. Don'thave time to work out the formula right now but mention me with sqiddster and I'll help you work it out if this math isn't your strong point.

  • The only exporter is HTML5, period. however, you should have options for different wrappers (mobile, desktop) on export.

  • I'm fairly sure Scirra are flexible about this issue.

  • Wow, excellent work!

  • I'd like to help, but I don't exactly know the problem! Could you state it a bit more clearly?

  • Woo Hoo! Keep us in the loop, Tom! Hopefully they get you up and running quickly.

  • I think it would be fine if you advertise your service in the 'help wanted' section.

You might want to ask Tom or Ashley about this however just to be safe ;)

  • Whiteclaws man you just had to steal my thunder. I swear this community is ruthless <img src="smileys/smiley4.gif" border="0" align="middle" />
