  • I dont know how to do the HTTP Server thing hehe, my game is not linking with my friend's game.

  • I personally love Spriter. http://brashmonkey.com/

  • Will this plugin work with the Windows 8 exporter? Because I have just started making my own apps for the Windows Store and would love it if I could make some sweet multiplayer game apps!

  • This is what I use for all my websites. It requires no website making skills to make a cool site! Also when you make a site unless you buy a membership your site's name will be www.(name).webs.com which I think is great since webs is such a short word that they add to it instead of something lengthy. http://www.webs.com/

  • My favorite music making program is Linux Multimedia Studio, or LMMS. It is free and open source and is for windows, not just linux. You can make a good beat pretty quickly with it and make melodies with a piano roll kinda like a graph where you place notes. http://lmms.sourceforge.net/

  • super excited.

Is this plugin going to be easier to use then the various socket.io plugins? Because I don't really know how to set up a command prompt server..like basically what I'm asking is this plugin going to be as simple as any other construct 2 behavior? or at least only a bit harder to use?

  • So you get 100 dollars per game you finish?!?! :O

  • Sorry I tried. -_-

  • Try Construct 3

Develop games in your browser. Powerful, performant & highly capable.

Try Now Construct 3 users don't see these ads
  • You could try this to turn the video into GIF:

    video-gif-converter.com

Then do "Import frames" on a Sprite's animation, and highlight all the frames.

And this to get the audio from the video:

    free-audio-editor.com/otherfreeproducts/free-video-to-audio-converter.htm

Then you could try making some events to sync them :)

Hopefully construct 2 will get a video plugin that works with Node Webkit/ Cocoonjs eventually, but this is what I do to get around it. Good Luck.

  • My friend and I are creating a new 2D Platformer! :)

  • By the graphics I would guess it is aimed at younger players than myself - which also makes them better players !

For me to progress any further than I did in my attempts would require the jump button moved to maybe space bar ?

Nice "one more go game" .

    Good luck.

Thanks. As of right now, we are not using the space bar for anything because it seems to scroll the page on Facebook. We currently have our game on Facebook, and Clay.io for Alpha Testing, and to show off what we have so far. When the game is finished it will go .Exe for PC, and also mobile. It will most likely have a bit different controls on then on PC. (Spacebar)

  • Awesome game!

    Thanks invader :)

  • I am interested, and definitely want to see CocoonJs support on Ouya.

  • I have an idea. I don't know if it could happen but hey, I'm gonna say it anyways. I understand that the Steam API cannot be distributed by anyone besides Steam. But what if Scirra made a plugin with it, then made an agreement with Steam for Steam to hold the rights to it, and if Steam wanted to, they could give the plugin to Greenlighted games for use with ONLY their game. (Just like the Steam API). I feel like this should happen because I feel that literally Construct 2 is the most powerful program I have ever used and for it not to be able to reach its maximum potential on PCs would be disappointing. I feel that if Construct 2 games had the ability to link with Steam directly the possibilites would be as much as any other greenlighted game. This is what I think would be only fair.
