  • Hey so I just did a quick scouring of the internet and could not find a valid answer, so I was hoping someone here might be able to help

    I would like to make my game object follow where the player is touching on the screen, IE when player touches screen the object moves towards that spot

    I have gotten as far as implementing the bullet behavior on the sprite and tried simply telling it to :

    -Touch:Is in touch -> set acceleration to 200 and set bullet angle of motion to Touch.x degrees

    I was trying to do touch.x, touch.y and figured that would be the solution but it will not let me do touch.x,touch.y

    anybody have any ideas of how to do this

  • Hey all,

    So I am trying to have a text box at the top of the screen, in which, the text scrolls to the left until it reaches its end and then restarts at the beginning, I am having trouble locating any help on the matter and would greatly appreciate any input, I've attached a sample pic that demonstrates what I am talking about.

    Thanks

  • Thanks!

  • So I have had a TON of help from many who frequent the "How Do I" section of the forums and it just didn't seem right to not share the completed project.

    Thank you to everyone who helped me, little or small, you guys truly were my greatest help in getting the game to function properly and I cannot thank you enough, special thanks to for having patience and talking through my complicated ideas and helping me approach things from a more experienced perspective.

    If you would like to check out the game you can find it for free on your online browser/mobile device on itch.io here;

    Thank you again to everyone on the forums and the entire Construct team as well, this has been a great experience and am excited to keep on pumping more games out. Stay tuned! I'm already working on a more daring project.

    Best Regards,
