  • Hi guys, I have a question concerning something in my game.

Is it legal to stream music from youtube into your game? as it's not piracy because it's not downloaded. Streaming is the way forward. But could I get in trouble at all if I'm streaming it?

    thanks.

  • I would help but I dont get what you want us to help you do..

  • Nice game, But horrible controls <img src="smileys/smiley6.gif" border="0" align="middle" />. No one wants to use the number keys to move.

  • deebee, It's a greeny blue. But to me its more of a green.

  • I dont know much about web-design. But I like the visual styling of Scirra's website, Allthough I do not think its consistent. Everything except the forums look nice. I like the font you guys use(Lobster), I actually used it on my old website! Because I liked it so much.

So i might not know so much about Web Design, But I do know art. and green on it's own is too over powering, I think it needs another color. Red is greens complementary color, so using red will look visually pleasing to the eyes!

    Tom what do you think?

  • Yann,

I'm pretty competitive you know <img src="smileys/smiley2.gif" border="0" align="middle" /> I will make it my lifes mission to ninja you as much as possible now! <img src="smileys/smiley4.gif" border="0" align="middle" /> lol.

  • Yann, Haha Do I do that often?

  • Nija'd by yann ;) I love lerp!

  • If you really want a multiplayer game that bad then I suggest learning how to program.

AS3 is pretty easy to learn, And C2's event system feels allot like AS3 programming, I mean AS3 is a programming language so you need a IDE but the events and expressions are similar!

Multiplayer is not something C2 is easily able to do right now, a user is developing a multiplayer plugin, but I presume its not easy and I have no heard from him in a while, so your gonna have to wait.

  • There are ways to test your app on the device using phonegap or app mobi without having a developers license, And I do not mean local preview.

    It's a hacky way, I used to do it when making apps with Actionscript3. It's basically a fake certificate <img src="smileys/smiley1.gif" border="0" align="middle" />. Let me know if you need it <img src="smileys/smiley2.gif" border="0" align="middle" />

  • septeven,

Yeah, because you need the AppMobi library's.

Why? Was you thinking about making a plugin?

  • This place has many great tutorials: http://psd.tutsplus.com/

They try to keep them good enough for beginners but sometimes things seem complicated when there really not.

  • Ashley, Thanks!

Do you think the timeframe is worth me putting my project on hold? I have a app that will really show the power of C2 on mobile devices!

The app is a image editor kinda thing, You can then save the image locally, and/or upload it to the shared gallery. Which you can view other people's work. I hope to be able to save it to the camera roll, which is possible with app mobi but I cannot figure out how to use there API to save it with the call js plugin.

This app feels very nice to use, Thanks to septeven for his iScroll plugin, and your native tokenat() expression!

  • I also use photoshop, It's the best of its kind!

There is a free alternative called Gimp, But I do not like it; This is only because im used to photoshop.

Gimp is fine if you have never used photoshop.

I also use Flash, Flash combined with photoshop is the best!

  • Thanks! <img src="smileys/smiley1.gif" border="0" align="middle" /> I get it now
