• Yes you are correct(I think), the larger the canvas then FPS will drop a little. Also if your game heavily relies on physics then the FPS will drop.

Its also to do with graphics, If you have graphics of a Higher DPI then if you have a every tick event and are manipulating that object, then its likely to be quite expensive in VRAM.

  • Ashley

yeah i mean having a option to select one of those three colors

  • Ashley, Can you not make a option to select the color?

  • You surely cannot do this whilst in browser as you don't own rights to that. If your useig phone gap then there will be a option to easily hide it

  • The only way I could imagine a UI on rotate layer is if you set its to a position and angle every tick. I'll try find a way later

  • Haha sure :)

  • Yes its layer rotation or layout. But as far as i know of no one is using layout

It says it in the rules, Layer or Layout definitely

  • The problem was you was using rotate layout. if the parralax is set to 0,0 the layer doesn't move not the layout So i simply changed layout angle to layer angle and pow!!

  • whats the problem?

If the parralax is set to 0,0 then its right it shouldn't move...

Or are you asking how to rotate a layer with parralax set to 0,0??

  • Try Construct 3

  • What do you mean starts to struggle? struggle doing what?

Explain what you need me to do exactly..

  • It interested me enough to take a look at the tread so it must be cool!

But does it reflect the gameplay?

If you need help with anything let me know, I'm happy to help

  • Yeah I can't seem to figure that one out though.

Basically you can hide it in animation. When its animated and walking you can have a sloped walk animation, So if you tilt the feet to that 45 degree angle it should look alright. sorry

  • Sorry never saw this thread.

I would say yes but not right now.

Leader boards and rankings are possible if you have some sever side scripting knowledge. If you do not im happy to help.

There is also a third party plugin called Playtomic which will store data from your game, But it also has online leaderboards built into that, which is really easy to use.

Multiplayer is not possible right now unless your a genius at scripting.

But luckily there is a genius in our community who is currently developing a multiplayer plugin. he has posted videos of it working! and its available pretty soon he reckons.

    So stick around.

As your new to Construct2 I suggest playing around with it for a while, getting to know the ropes as a board game will be pretty intense to work on even in a simple game engine like this one. You will need to understand arrays.

We have a really good friendly community here in which many genius's are allways welcome to help(im not one of the genius's) But im always happy to help, Im pretty good with the engine.

But yeah give C2 a go, And welcome!!!
