  • Heh, perhaps the draw style looks off due to the text filling up the place ^_^

    Ohh, and I missed the bit where I could adjust the rotating, nice going!

    Yea, well its mentioned in the Tutorial Prototype but I'm planning more in detail ones,

    especially for the skills but they need a bit workup.

    But so far everything is easy to understand right ?

  • Yes it worked now

    You worked out quite some mechanics.

    Upgrades for astroids lolz

    The game upgrade mechanics and in game scraps for currency worked well, nice that it gets stored in local storage.

    The graphics in the menus looked rather poor though, as if they were placeholders.

    Texts looked rather cramped, heaps of text, rather thick font, perhaps use a bit smaller font, and a font that fits better with the graphics.

    One thing for the playing, I use a laptop, my first choice of controls are my arrow keys.

    When using the aswd keys, I didn't really like the turning of the ship, it was rather crude, in a sense of, I wasn't able to make small turns, making me miss a lot of targets.

    Good that it's working.

    Yea Ive fixed quite a bit already with the currency and upgrade mechanic while alot of testing.

    "The graphics in the menus looked rather poor though" What exactly ? I mean it should have a retro pixely style but generally speaking that was just my second idea for the design especially the font and arrangement. ( the first one was really bad, ugly and just felt wrong ^^ ) I really put too much on one layout tho and will eventually make a few more seperate layouts. ( and maybe also more buttons with symbols rather than words ? )

    I just like the Impact font and use it quite often in my projects but I kinda already knew that it's not a good fit and a bit too big but this is just a prototype.

    The controls are ASDW because Im so used to it, every game is using those and never the arrows anymore but ill implement them soonish. ( besides that you can hold Shift to decrease the rotation speed and Ctrl to increase it. or use the prototype mouse control mode when ingame press "M" key and then the rotation will follow the cursor. 2nd or you can use a controller. 3rd or if you have an android device you can download the app on Google Play. )

  • Should work now.... It didnt change from private to public when I published it -.-

  • Yea I know, clear cache works sometimes but mostly I have to wait and then the new version is playable...

  • So Im currently working on a lil game ( also already published on Google Play ) and tried updating it on Construct Arcade yesterday and today a few times, by just uploading the -.zip generated by the "Scirra Arcade" export in Construct 2. So far so good: The game does work and is playable there but its NOT the newest version Ive uploaded. WHY ?! Do I need to wait like a week to be able to upload a new version ?

  • Hey :D First thanx for your feedback ! Well it's a game I made solo in my own game-jam but I didn't want to just have it done and throw it away -> I already got some plans for the future content and will defntly implement them but ideas and inspiration are always welcome ;) Sadly I can't speak or understand spanish ^^ but what I see is a very nice artist so keep it up ! I could make tutorials with my knowledge too but I'm far too buisy with the stuff I'm working on ( mainly in Unreal Engine 4 making a horror like game ; in Anime Studio creating a series with a buddy ; and also many other C2 projects like a Revolutionary-RPG or minigames ). But I might check out english tuts if I need even more advanced functionality -> maybe make em in the global language for more range and understanding... And nice that u noticed my work :3

  • Well hey there (:

    It's a pretty simple but addictive game ;

    a lot of functionality like Upgrades, Skills, Gamemodes, & Much more ( comming ) ;

    Handcrafted artwork & sounds ;

    making it solo -> takes a while, even for 2d ( and also making 3d games )

  • Working fine with Webview+ ;

    Canvas+ seems quite buggy like in my Project: cant open Settings Layout it just Blackscreen or Freezed but game is working.

    Text Objects working fine but C2-Buttons not -> Use Sprite and onClicked() or onTouched()

    and hope for more useful plugins ^^

  • Hey guys

    Well...I just wanna save some plain text like on a notepad but the user should be able to see, add and delete entries.

    Kinda like a reminder for things to do but more fency ^^

    Now the question(s)..

    Do the Dictionary-Object saves locally or is it only while the programm is running ?

    If not can I easily make it save ?

    Should I use the Local Storage ?

    --> I tried but can't figure out how it works to get text, save it always shown(at a list) and that the user can add/edit and delete as many items as he wants.

    Or am I thinking in a wrong way ?
