  • I created a mute button and it seemed to work perfectly except for one flaw, if i mute it on the menu screen and then unmute it ingame, the music doesnt play unless i die can anyone please help me with this? Thank you.

    For a start, what tablet(s)/phones/systems/browsers are you testing on?

    What is the size of the project?

    What memory use does the project report?

    It's impossible to help without information.

  • I'm afraid i'm not a genius when it comes to construct 2 as i'm a newbie myself but have you tried giving your enemie the "sine" behaviour? you can make them move horizontally, you can also change the magnitude and period which controls their speed and distance.

  • Hey all, I'm testing out my game on a tablet but it gets quite a lot of FPS lag, were as on phone or my PC i get perfect FPS, does anyone have any fixes or recommendations for me? Any help is greatly appreciated! Thanks

  • Do your invisible walls have the "solid" behavior? If so try disabling it. As far as I know your enemies should still do what you want them to.

  • Ive never tired it but what if you had a "danger zone" sprite. Invisible but script it so every time a #4 Tile is created, create a DangerZone sprite at that location. Then just script it so when the player clips that sprite they die/take damage.

    So if every tile #4 is the spikes, after the map is finished seeding have a for loop for every & Tile=Tile#4 create DangerZoneSprite at X=Tile4Instance0(X) Y=Tile4Instance0(Y) and have a variable ++1 for every time the loop runs and using that for which instance of the tile in question

    But I have never tried it so I may need tweaking.

  • So, i made a tilemap and in my tilesheet i have spikes, i was wondering if it was possible to single out the spikes so that when i collide with them it destroys my player? or would i have to import the spikes as a seperate sprite. Thanks for the help in advance and any help is appreciated!

  • Hi, i'm trying to make a platform game with 32x32 tiles and i am stuck on what the best window size / layout size would be for it. I want the entire level to be visible on screen and I'm also going for landscape! Thanks

  • Right now my character only fires bullets to the left, does anyone know how to make him fire both ways Any help is appreciated, thank you in advance!

    Add a condition should be:

    Keyboard on space pressed

    AND on ammo greater than 0

    ---> Then will spawn bullet and subtract from ammo
