    random(random(0,0),random(0,0))

This will send the ball to a random player at a random angle.

Just set the angles to player 1 and 2.

  • Try Construct 3

Develop games in your browser. Powerful, performant & highly capable.

Try Now Construct 3 users don't see these ads
  • random(random(A,A)), random(random (B,B)

The first random picks a random set of angles.

eg. "A,A" angle towards player 1 or "B,B" towards player 2.

Then the second random will set the angle random between chosen numbers.

savvito123 this will Work wont it? I tried it once before.

  • Thanx again but its still buggy. Im trying to use the snap-to event and an array to avoid collisions/overlapping.

I will post something if I figure it out.

  • Try on created set angle random(random(45,135),135,225)

Just pick angles towards where you want it to go most.

Hope it helps Im still learning too.

  • Hi this post a dead?

I used a dictionary and XML it worked OK.

Ill post what I have if this isn't a graveyard.

  • I solved your picking problem but the way your code is now it starts to glitch when you want to link more then two blocks together. I think you have got more work ahead of you.

kriand I did think it could be done with family's but I am using the free edition.

Do you think it was possible to fix without family plugin?

I do this for fun and a challenge but only started 2 months ago.

    Thanx for your wor

  • I was assuming the bullet behavior was already enabled.

If distFall=0 at the start when it hits 1000px it will stay 1000.

Anyways I've only been coding for bouts 2 months. Sorry I i got it wrong

  • Use behavior Bullet on you object then set an instance variable "example_A" to 1

    bullet distance traveled = 1000 * "example_A"

    event action + add to example_A + 1

This uses distance traveled rather than coordinate to trigger.

  • What I want is to be able to drag any object instance and not have it overlap

This is where Im up to:

    drive.google.com/open

I can drag-drop obj_Blue and it wont overlap obj_Red or the Red and it wont overlap the Blue.

I tried but cant do this for the same obj_. obj_Red + obj_Red

I can pick the instance but cant action it.
