    extract in construct directory

  • have no idea... theres only sprite, tiled bg, keyboard and mouse and audiere inside.

    downloaded this file from that link 5 times and everything's fine.

  • don't want to start a new thread so i will put it here.

    What do you think about sorting "Your Creations" to something more like "Finished projects" and "WIP" ?

    Honestly there's a big mess over there, and trying to find something is nearly impossible. Most of the things in there shoud be really in the "Your tutorials & example files".

    I'm asking becouse when i paste a link of my game to facebook many people starts asking me where they can find that app for creating games and other games made in CC.

    Since then they still asking me about other games, cause every time they open random topic they just see a picture and short description about game that is in production/abandoned or a project with sprite placeholder flying around blank space. That's not a good advertisement for Scirra. I've been speaking with those people as a member of this community, and almost every one of them said that they would like to see finished or advanced project made in CC or C2, not only screen shoots and demos.

  • First of all you have to add to your layout two objects:

    • Sprite
    • Light

    Then for your Sprite you have to add behavior called "Shadowcaster Behavior"

    Light object is necessary for shadow caster to work.

    anyway I'm Polish and can speak/write/read in English. Obviously google translator is my biggest helper with funky or proper technical words, but not using that very often though.

    There's a on-line, allmost real-time translator on the chat. don't now about other lenguages but after todays morning with polish -> english i must say it works preety nice.

  • I'm starting a new project and encountered the problem with which I can not do, and bean trying to make it work since morning.

    1. I would like to make sprite jump, but the shadow stay in place -o bviously.

    I managed to do some "jumping", but the result is a terribly bad and not working when the "sprite" stands next to the wall. Have no idea how to set shadow to move x and y while sprite is in the air

    2. I do not know in which direction i should go when it comes to checking up Z posisions, for now every wall has its own private variable "z" for height and I want to check whether the height of the sprite jump is greater than the height of the wall. If so, sprite may jump on that wall. This is not a typical isometric game (3/4), so it should be a little easier.

  • off topic, but what i wanna say fits here perfectly.

    Tom don't know if it would be hard or even possible to do, but integrating Google Translate into the forum could be awesome addon:)

    No more troubles for non english speakers (like me btw).
