  • I'm in the process of getting an ipad pro, and looking to offload as much of my game dev work to that device as possible. This is mostly just because from work and elsewhere I'll be able to use the ipad, while my time at desktop is limited.

    Unfortunately, my time isn't the only thing limited my art skills are as well.

    My hope was that there would be some way from mobile that I can bone animate for Construct in the same way that I can for Game Maker Studio.

    I'd appreciate any help in trying to figure out the animation issue. Art/programming/sound effects are all within my grasp, it is just an issue of this animation hump.

  • I'm not particularly interested in obscuring my code, and am thinking that not minifying would probably make it easier for people to mod my game; something I want to enable and encourage.

    One thing I'm curious about (and haven't seen hard numbers on) is what tangible benefits exist beyond code obscuring when minifying projects? I don't want to leave performance on the table, but at the same time I'm apprehensive to minify and make the game harder to mod for no real benefit.

    Any help in trying to determine if minifying is all that important would be greatly appreciated.
