  • lennaert Im not understanding what you mean by"colored items only fit in certain squares"All the squares are the same as the tile size and Im dragging the red block tile over the orange and they are not swapping positions at all.

  • lennaert Thank you for your help! and Thank EncryptedCow for the great inventory,He created it for me.One question i have is.Can you make it so when i grab an item from the inventory and i drop it on a different slot it replaces it? Thats really what im aiming to do rather than equiping it.

  • Whatsup everyone,

    I am having some issues trying to implement a drag and drop feature within my inventory capX file.

    EncryptedCow is the one i paid to make this for me since at that time i had no experience to comprehend the inventory and arrays.

    I am desperate need of help in regards to this inventory capX,Im trying to figure out how i can make items transfer from one slot to another by drag and drop.That is the last thing i need before i can move forward and im not sure at all how to create the effect within my inventory.

    I just want the player to be able to take his/her finger and drag an item from one slot to another if that is possible.

    This is the final aspect of my inventory for this project i would love to learn from someone who knows of this if possible.

  • Hi everyone,

    I have an issue with my capX file,I cant seem to figure out why i still have these lines in my exported capX. I have one with pixel rounding on and one with piel rounding off.Im not sure what to do about this,when i preview my game before the export it looks fine.Can someone please help me fix this,This is a really bad graphical issue.

    Click The Player and the inventory menu will go Invisible.

    This is amazing! I really would love to learn from you when it comes to how you were able to implemnt shadows around solids so nicely.

    I am making a sandbox game and that is exactly the style i need if i want things to have a realistic feel for lighting purpose.Fantastic work and thank you for showing me this.

    will there be another option once The web version is retired?I really would love to continue to use this option for export on my current OS.

    Im using Windows Vista for now.

    Thanks for taking the time to try out crosswalk and XDK and letting us know the good and bad. It really helps us know what we have to do next.

    Astro The build problem was resolved. A logging option was left on and the disk filled up. I did a couple builds and it works fine now.

    RookieDev There is a web based interface to the build system. We are going to retire it in a few months but you can use it for now.

    I don't have enough points to post a url so I had to mangle it. Cut/paste and get rid of the X between http: and //

    'start a new app', 'create your own from scratch' 'start with a project bundle' Export from c2 for android. Create a zip file with index.html in top level. Upload that bundle. Click next.You will be in appcenter and select 'build as mobile app' and the 'crosswalk'.

    If you want to update the zip file, export from c2 again. Make a new zip. Go to appcenter. 'Update QA' to upload the new bundle. 'Promote' to put it in the production slot. Then build.

    This is much easier from XDK so we should find a way for you to use it. Are you on windows XP? What problem do you see?

    So what options do people that are running on OS Systems that are older than windows 7.Can we still use crosswalk and the new export option?

    It would save alot of hassle to just get construct 2 from this site.The Community is better the updates are faster and you dont need to be signed in to steam to use the product.

  • I can't get it to install too. It's extracting and then it just crashes.

    Im having some issues with opening this XDK from Intel.This is the screen i get when i try to load the file that was suggested i download from thier site for the first time.It runs through the entire progress bar then the box just dissapears.Nothing else happens,I really dont understand it.Can someone help with this. <img src="http://i976.photobucket.com/albums/ae242/emoneydatruth/Capture_zps3ca9a110.png" border="0" />

    This original post was made back in august.I still would love to know this myself since the only viable example i found was on Construct Classic.

    Thank you,you have enlightened me and shown me that the first event was in fact the main issue i was having.I really was under the influnce that everything you had placed in the capX was there for a specific reason and for that reason i didnt want to delete anything.

    Thank you for showing me this.

    Is it ok if i release this capX in the newly made capX section of the tutorial page?
