  • The story is nice, but I think it will depend on the gameplay mechanics (how he hunts, and hides from the govenrment). This looks like a complex game though.

  • Actually it is very easy to tell it where to go. When you are dragging those events, if you want to put it as a sub event, drag it into the grey rectangular area right below the event codes. It will know you want to make it a sub event.

  • Happens to me all the time. Unfortunately to my knowledge, the only quick solution is the ctrl button and selecting all the main events and moving them all together.

  • I am using cocoon so I am not sure of the real process in Intel XDK, but that probably refers to your Package ID. In Intel try looking for a section that allows you to enter a package ID. Usually you can enter "com.(brand name). (Game name)" as a package ID.

  • Try Construct 3

  • DatapawWolf haha thanks, I really did a lot of takes with the graphics, should have seen the first draft, would have given players nightmares!

  • alextro haha thanks. Yeah really happy to finally release a game after a few years building so many of them.

  • After a few years here, I've finally released my first game today on GooglePlay.

A promo video for those that are interested but don't want to download the game.

It's a reaction game, where you need to collect every falling diamond, while avoiding the obstacles and the web trail our hero spider leaves behind. Oh and it gets faster and faster as you play. To let you guys know, this game has interstitial ads that will pop up once every 3rd game. I hope you guys do enjoy it. https://play.google.com/store/apps/details?id=com.WuzkoStudio.SpaceSpider

But personally the most important thing for me is, I want to give a big thank you to the great community here that helped so much, without you all, this game would never have been possible. As we discussed in an earlier topic, I've included many of you in my credits. I've used your nicks in the forum here, but if you would like me to use your real name instead, please send me a pm and I will include it when I next update my game. I'll tag below everyone that was included in my credits section. Please forgive me if I missed your name even though you've helped me along the way. All your help and advice are much appreciated.

Haha and as I said earlier, I wanted to at least try and create a unique credit section with some sort of story (albeit a very weird one), so I uploaded it to youtube so that those that don't download the game can still watch it. Haha expecting a few WTF reactions.

(yes, I do love my memes )

Again, thank you to everyone. I would love to hear any feedback you have.

  • Haha I know, it is something quite simple and we need to use it all the time, but it is complex. The easiest option that I always use, is using rexrainbow's moveto plugin:

If you want it to have an ease in and out speed effect, you will need to use lerp:

  • I use Gimp (free) for vector arts, Inkscape (free) for more complex 2D art, and 3D Studio Max (sadly, very not free) for 3D art.

  • You will need to share a capx or upload a screenshot of your events so that we can take a look and see how we can help you out.

  • Try running the debug tool in C2 and look at some of the parts of the game that is using the most resources, it might give you a clue as to where to concentrate on to clean up and make your game more efficient. Another very good solution, is to dump XDK for now and go with Cocoon.io like I have. It has it's cons, but performance is not one of them compared to Intel XDK.

  • I don't think there are any limitations at least in how you want it to work for your game. Since the value is wrong when you return to the game, it must mean that you are saving it wrongly. You will need to look at your events again, or post a screenshot or capx here for others to take a look at.

  • wizdigitech, I had the same issue as you did. The thing is that instructions is for a different type of exporter I think. This is what I did which resolved it, with the help of some of the experts. Export it to Cordova. No need to copy any of the codes, just delete the two xml files in the exported folder. Now while inside that folder itself, select all the files and create a zip file. Next upload that zip file to cocoon. Than inside there, just do all the normal settings, but this time, leave the config xml section alone. No need to do anything for that part, just do all your normal settings and than export. It should now work just fine.

  • Merry Christmas everyone!! Haha newt nice effect, but I think I'll need to see an optician now!

  • Agree with everyone. I had no idea people hated Nintendo, I mean every game consoles will have it's haters, but I would think that Nintendo would probably rank in the lowest.
