  Add a 'System: Trigger Once' to the last two events there so it doesn't keep setting the layer 3 visible while Enemies = 5 or 10.

  You're not the only one getting this error. I think Dropbox must have made some changes recently.

  I've been looking into it and I believe the error comes from trying to load WebGL textures from another domain which isn't allowed. The dropbox files are actually stored on dropboxusercontent.com. If the files are cached then it works okay but if you try to load a texture before the image has cached (I'm guessing) it loads the image direct from dropboxusercontent.com and gives the security error.

  The easy solution is to change your url from dl.dropbox.com to https://dl.dropboxusercontent.com.

  gives error:

  https://dl.dropbox.com/u/8367729/construct/demo/Space%20Blaster_r119/index.html

  works:

  https://dl.dropboxusercontent.com/u/8367729/construct/demo/Space%20Blaster_r119/index.html

  You can use the 'System: Set timescale' action to change the speed. 1 = normal, 2 = double speed, 0.5 = half etc. That changes the speed of everything in the game including timers.

  You can also use 'System: Set object timescale' to change the timescale of individual players. Give each player a timer like the countdown timer. On key pressed - set player timescale to 2 and start the timer. When it reaches 0 - set timescale back to 1. The bar would be a Sprite or TiledBackground and you adjust it's width based on the timer value.

  score = score - (move - kill) * 5

  or maybe

  score = max(0, score - (move - kill) * 5)

  if you don't want it to go below 0.

  You could move away from the centre of the platform with 'move at angle' and the angle:

  angle(platform.x, platform.y, player.x, player.y)

  Or move in the opposite direction to gravity.

  Use different animations instead of different sprites. For the overlap maybe after the morph have a loop: while player is overlapping platform -> move up 1 px.

  Sounds like you're spawning the particles on a layer with different parallax.

  I don't think a game with 1 vote should be in top rated games list at all. You can submit a game, rate it 5 stars and have it jump into the top 6 list. That's not right is it?

  After reading this post last night I gave 5 stars to a new unrated game to see what effect it would have and it's now 2nd in the top games list with 3 votes. Maybe there should be top new games list and top overall for games with more than x votes.

  Some sites don't show a rating until the game receives a certain number of votes. I think that's a good idea because the first few votes are influential and you get people thinking a game is worth 3 stars but giving it 1 to counter the 5 it already has.

  You're right about people not voting though. It's the same with tutorials. The top rated (> 1 million views) has only 379 votes.
