  • Kyatric sure and that why I requested it's removal from the arcade. When I originally placed it there i had no idea it was going to be so easily taken by a third party for their own benefit. Lesson learned. I do know how to up the security on it however since I've been unable to log into the arcade I haven't been able to update it for that purpose.

    I do think there should be a revision on those terms you mention as they offer no protection to the developers behind the game who are affected directly. In my case it was just a simple weekend game I published freely however some more complex games made by other developers are being affected too, there has been no attribution or mention of the origin or the game being linked and even the scirra banner has been modified or removed. Considering the game is meant to be provided freely and its on a site that is making money out of the heavy amount of adds placed around it while it was still not the site it was intended to be on I call that stolen any day.

  • Either way since the arcade doesn't connect the forum account for some reason(maybe its broken) I don't recall if there is a way for me to remove it from the arcade at all or update it to the current version. I'd like it removed from there. I just don't like the idea of people using my car to sell hot-dogs on another city when its supposed to be at the parking lot ya know... it's that kind of feeling.

  • So I'm not making money out of a game that I meant to be free but anyone can make money out of the adds placed on their site where without my permission or even a mention they just happened to post the game that I made. That sounds awesome .., let me just go ahead and do that to every game on the arcade and see who else likes it ... :/ My point is... its wrong and broken.

  • Magistross Thanx ... I actually didn't remember I had that plugin up in there(must have picked the wrong spinner behavior). You just solved my issue. I also used the box outside (marker) to destroy the lazers on collision so we don't have a million lazers traveling around. I updated the example so people who want to make a simple space shooter can get the finished template at the store here.

  • I'm making a spaceship shooter game. Much in the same way I did with Freefall Bird ... I replaced the blocks with planets and cool effects that come from above and the player just flies up... however the issue I'm having is with the bulits the ship shoots. They are not going up no matter how much speed I put on them. in fact they basically pop up and vanish... this leads me to believe they are created and left behind as the player "falls up".

    Come to think of it i did post here before... hey Kyatric can you make this something more usefull for the community like you do with your post of the plugin list? Just a thought as the OP mentioned it would be a bit more usefull for a moderator to make it into a list of the games/apps made with C2? any thoughts.

    lucid because spriter is just awesome one of the best inversions I ever made beides Construct2.

    What the final product is.

    This is a free animated personalized social sharable postcard maker.

    This one is localized to the programs produced the station, however when I make my (first) tutorial I'll be using the "generic" file so people can create their own and probably improve uppon it.

    What the final webapp does:

    • It has an animated front screen with music.

    -- that screen has male,female selection buttons and a mute/play button for the music.

    • has a picture capture setup screeen where you frame your face on the given space and take the snapshot.
    • this goes to a simple icon menu that lets you choose a program roster to be a part on.
    • uppon sharing via twitter or facebook this app will also save the picture and related data to a server and give out a custom coded random number/letter id whithin a link which will direct the user to a finished postcard with the settings all set. This postcard includes a button that will in turn return a user to the main webapp site with the editing functions cleared so they can make their own postcard.

    if i put the html code for hash sign &#35; it breaks the string or displays wrong,

    i don't want the hash in the url it may polute my ressults.

  • arrall I'll give it a try. I'm at the moment redirecting to the inside in_dex.php as the "published version in which the sharing buttons are gone. and from there redirecting back to the "framed" version when they hit the "create your own" button... its a preety nifty workaround for now.

    I'm concentrating at the moment on finishing the sharing buttons (which by the way the tweeter one needs to be more like the facebook one Ashley so I can make my own icon and use that as trigger rather than have them load theyr crappy tweet icon) Also I'm working on polishing the details and having all the dancers and musicians in palce. (was misssing 2 groups)

    — I'll send you a link to the published finished ersion when I'm done arral also... I'll make a "blank"version for a tutorial... since this has given such a hard time I'll be putting the whole thing on writing to help anyone else who needs something of what we've acccomplished here.
