  • yes you can, easily.

    just use lerp for line drawing operations, sin cos for ellipse drawing, boxes are just using line drawings, same for polygons. and beziers can be done using Qarp.

    im not sure of how to do fill

  • try running as administrator, check it "on" in properties/compatibility, alot of programs which dont seem to work on vista work when you check that off.

  • I've played through the tutorials, and they are really grand! Spot on. I commend ye, deadeye.

    The moving platforms do not work correctly for me; perhaps this is a bug introduced with *.2.

    delete the events that make them "work", and it should work fine. the new platform movement automatically moves your character with the platforms.

  • I was on the forum the other day, I had just gone out to buy some carrots to put in a stew I was making and I came back, opened the door and switched on my personal computer. I opened the forum and started to browse as I normally would, and after several clicks it just hung for a few minutes. It reminded me of when I was a child, in west philidelphia born and raised, in a playground where I spent most of my days, chillin out maxin relaxing all cool, shooting some b-ball outside of the school when a couple of guys said were up in no good started making trouble in my neighbourhood I got in one little fight and my mom got scared and said youre moving with your aunte and uncle in bel-air

  • lol imagine if a rival site uploaded malicious stuff. as long as you know what youre downloading things should be fine, dont download unkown setup.exes or wtv.

  • its written to the drive, but the main bottleneck is cpu speed, since it only seems to lag for me when recording things which use alot of CPU. like physics. if i record my game without physics going on theres no lag, once the physics turns up things get choppy

    i doubt ram or write speed will be the problem.

    try it out tho, it works wonderfully

  • if youre going to use fraps this is important, how fast is your computers cpu?

    when recording at 60fps in a pretty intensive game it WILL bog down a slow computer. my cpu is a dual 1.8 and it cant run many physics collisions while recording at 60fps half size in blobber. i think Sol would probably be the best person to use for recording the cpu intensive games judging by his rig .

    and you can record inside the layout editor, its just a bit strange because of the way the its rendered.

  • just set the width to -103 in the layout editor and it wont work. do you know why?

    seemed to work fine when i did it in a fresh file

    the character flips fine atm, because i added individual animations of flipped frames to each sprite.

    the gun and legs dont have this and if i put auto mirror on the gun it works improperly because the gun will flip before the character does. i have to either use a negative width or make new animations which are mirrored (which will take a while) for it to work properly. I need this negative width because the animation way is a bad way to do it.

    EDIT: ah never mind lol, im just getting confused it seems to work

  • seems fine now, but about an hour ago it wasnt loading, it was loading improperly and it was trying to open with /phpbb2. it was fudged up, just wondering if any one knows why.
