  • Oh, well if you put it like that...Oh and I didn't say the graphics were crap! lol.

A trim to adjust the dead zone

A toggle for button / joystick jump on the platform behavior.

Jump / movement velocity sliders , giving readouts of variables used.

    Platforms in the platform section...

    Dual joystick option...

If anything else springs to mind I'll post it up...

  • Great work, That's a really good demo, nice feel to the travel of the "stick"

To improve, maybe a continuous scrolling in all directions as you soon run into the edge and a sprite change to match the various modes, but they would just be mainly cosmetic.

    As I said well done.

  • Some great stuff on here people, keep it up!

Another quick screenshot of my current game, added some more "dungeon like" looking walls and a boarder...all W.I.P probably to be redone...

  • Francesco I recommend downloading the free edition of the latest stable release from this site, and working with that until you hear from Scirra.

Anything you develop would carry straight over to the full version if you did end up buying the "proper" version.

    Have fun.

  • I can't comment on steam customer care ,personally I will never sign up or purchase anything via steam...

I would say Scirra has been one of the most honourable and helpful companies I have ever had the pleasure of dealing with, I guess the Christmas period will be the reason you have not had any help from them...

  • Nice to see Dungeon Buster is still being developed...and has kept it's humour!

Hoping the block headed skeletons have not had the chop ?

  • Been working on a first person dungeon crawler for the last few weeks, after having a break from construct 2, I thought I would push my limits...

next to add inventory, items and monsters...

  • dysh assuming you have downloaded the C2 licence file, you need to move it into your C2 directory...

That will unlock your editor to the full version...

  • I delayed reporting for that very reason ,bit odd it's only started since R153...

My graphics card driver is up to date.

Only thing I have done out of the ordinary is change the theme of the editor...

    Thanks anyway.

  • Beneath a steel sky by Revolution software is a classic, that springs to mind...

  • Just to add, There is a game called "Jack haunt" which is a classic Lucas arts type point and click adventure, developed in C2...

    Read about it here...

    scirra.com/forum/point-and-click-pulp-mystery-jack-haunt_topic68282.html

  • The free version is limited to 100 events and families are not supported this would make a point n click adventure game very difficult and or, very short...

If your serious about making a game, either start with a simpler game or invest in the personal edition of C2...

  • Allanp Like it!... Proper gloomy style...

  • An array would be one way to deal with this, however there are always different ways of doing something...

At some point you will have a graphical representation of your crew members,be it a portrait or a sprite, give this an instance variable for each stat...you should be able to work on that from there...
