  • I'm trying to export a game for Windows 10 but when I open it with VS Community 2015 I can't open the package.appxmanifest to edit the pictures, etc as I could do for win 8.1, and if I edit it manually it gives me error when I try to build the packages

    Has anybody found a solution for this?

    Steps to Reproduce Bug

    • export a game with Construct2 (release 212.2) to Windows 10
    • open it with VS Community 2015
    • try to open the package.appxmanifest

    Can anyone show or tell how it should look, what facebook users should be able to see, and how do they find it?

  • I fixed the button! I had installed "Facebook Complete" object before (which was part of one of those 3 tutorials), and now I removed it and the normal Facebook object works well, I guess they were not compatible. Now, in my game when I click on the "fblogin" button, it does trigger a facebook login popup.

    But nothing changed in my facebook developer page, I still only see that same "Web preview button" and it doesnt work (in my computer nor in my phone).

  • All the tutorials and info I find is from last year, maybe something changed, and there's a better way to publish to Facebook, but I can't find anything or anybody talking about it, so I guess not.

  • I see that on the right upper side of my published app page (I can only get there through my facebook developer page, clicking on "Web preview" in the app info area, I can't find it when searching in facebook).

    The only event I did for the facebook object is: I created a button for it, and then added the following event: fbbutton-> on clicked- Facebook->Login (request none,none)

  • Thank you Little Stain, but I have already read all those 3 tutorials, more than once, and tried to do what they say (not the dropbox one, that system is not what I'm looking for) in the past couple of days, and I still have those problems.

  • I have been trying since yesterday to publish a game as website app game in Facebook, but it is not working (or is the option "send to mobile" all that can normally be seen? and when searching for your game name in Facebook is normal that no results show?)

    And I add the facebook object, a button to login, and an event: fbbutton on clicked- Facebook-Login (request none,none)

    But when I test this button nothing happens.

    I suspect I'm missing something very obvious but I can't find out what

    Please help!
