  • No, Construct 2 projects (.capx) and C3 projects using the C2 runtime will be supported and openable in Construct 3 forever, providing they are compatible with the C3 runtime.

Thank you so much for clarifying Ashley! Now I can have some peace of mind. :)

  • I've read a lot of forum posts and I'm a little confused on some elements of the porting of C2 runtime projects to C3 runtime.

So, just to be clear, after July it will be no longer possible to open c3p files using C2 runtime in Construct 3?

  • The title is a bit odd so let me try to explain. In Angry Birds Space when the player is about to shoot a bird a small arc trajectory is shown to them. It's affected by the gravity fields in the game, along with steam and water.

AllanR has made a really good trajectory arc example, and I'm trying to see if I can make it be affected by things other than the physics gravity itself.

GIFs to properly illustrate what I mean:

My previous attempt didn't exactly work out, as it made the trail glitch out, so if there is a solution to this, I'd like to hear it.

  • I was wondering if there was a effect or behaviour that basically makes a sprite jiggle, kinda like this:

  • I need help on how to make a simple leaderboard which is in-game and not on a website.

The tutorial above would've helped, but it isn't compatible with Construct 3. Is there an alternative for Construct 3?

  • Now, there was already a topic for the question, but there wasn't a simple answer and it was also really old, so i decided to make a new one.

Basically, if you've played Banjo Kazooie/Tooie or seen videos of it, you've may have noticed that when going from one part of the area to the other the music would change based on which part of the area you went to. (e.g: Grunty's Lair in Banjo Kazooie and Isle o' Hags in Banjo Tooie are full of this.)

The same thing happens when going underwater, where the music will play a underwater version of the area's music.

So i'm wondering how to make it work, and if it does, make it seamless too.

The roll animation post i made is long old, and i've since figured out how to fix it.

But i do have another question for you and i'm going to say it here since you can't message anybody anymore, how do you make it so that when the player is on a slope which is 45 degrees, the player turns, but when not the player is on a slope that less than 45 degrees?

    Hello, it's me Slug101.

I have a problem with the animation when rolling, where when Sonic rolls, the animation doesn't work/animate.
