I've read a lot of forum posts and I'm a little confused on some elements of the porting of C2 runtime projects to C3 runtime.

So, just to be clear, after July it will be no longer possible to open c3p files using C2 runtime in Construct 3?

No, Construct 2 projects (.capx) and C3 projects using the C2 runtime will be supported and openable in Construct 3 forever, providing they are compatible with the C3 runtime.
