    You might want to update the version of C2 you are using - r208 is over 6 months old and there have been many changes since.

  • So, just add the physic behaviour AND the platform behaviours to the players, and the solid AND physic behaviours to the platform.

  • Can you be more precise ?

    For what i understand, you want the playe 1 to push the player 2 when he is jumping on a platform and P2 is already on it.

    If that's the case, add a physic behavious to both of the players and enable "Prevent rotation" in their properties

  • There are two solutions :

    1- When you place the tilemap, don't work on it first, but crop it perfectly before using it

    2- Make the tilemap with a program like "Tiled", you will be able to edit it freely

  • So... you want that object to be able to move around the circular object ?

    If that's the case, try to change the base point of the object inside, it base will be attached to the circular one, then, if you play with the angle, you will be able to make it move around, or make it look like it turns around.

  • I found a solution... just go to the layer properties and select "Force own texture"

    I tried to make a dark place, with a black layer, not transparent and another one on it that "cut a hole" on the black one, to make something like a light in a dark area.

    I mean ... i used the blend effect to make a hole on a black, not transparent, layer, to make it look like a light in the darkness.

    But, the blend effect is only using the form of the object, so, when i use a light sprite, i have a circle hole, not a hole with the texture of the light. And on the black layer, i made a gradient to look like a penumbra in an area but not in an other one. I used a sprite but the layer see it as a rectangle and the gradient and transpacency disapears.

    I tried directly on sprites and not on layers, but i have the same results, the sprite become a black rectangle and loses it texture.

    I need to know how to blend, or cut a hole in a sprite.

    I made a character with his sprite.

    I made another sprite for him, and i made the animation called "Walk", then i put all the frames for the first sprite and the frames for the another one in the same animation. Can i change the first and last frame of the animation by using the events or should i make a new animation and change everything and make a lot of new events?

  • I found the solution

    I used to select default gamma because it always worked, but if someone wants to make a high res sprite in 3DS Max, use the Override Gamma when selecting the folder to save the file!

  • Yes, i used proper settings, the sprites is perfectly exported too and appear normal in construct but not on chrome/firefox/IE.

    I make a 3D model in 3DS Max then export it to sprites

    I import them in Construct (No crop)

    I click on test

    On the browser : The sprite gets really bright.
