• Thank you very much!

The stars are diamonds And they only serve the purpose of score and an additional ending.

Yes, I could have added a story, but for what purpose? In the end it is just a sadistic but simple game. I didn't see a need for a story.

• Hi!

Finally I have managed to finish my game: Fidget - Quick & Dirty!

It's a One-Click/One-Tap jump'n'run game, designed for mobile devices, but working of course on desktops too. You can tap, click or press space to jump. Nothing more to do.

The game progress will be saved after each level. Be warned: the levels are short but hard. And often frustrating. It's a game for badasses not pussies!

Either you'll love it or hate it - or both!

If I leave the game and then continue I have no longer fullscreen (in fact I can't leave the game, just press home. so it continues next time)

Im unable to recreate this problem on my test devices. Does this happen consistently for you? Can you explain the steps exactly to recreate this bug. You mean, you exit the game to the Android desktop, then later go back into the game by pressing the Game icon and when game reopens, its not fullscreen, is that right? What happens if you force close the game completely, then reopen?

/quote]

No, it happens not every time. I can't say at the moment when this is happening. If I find out I will tell you.

The missing "quit" button is not a big problem! It is just unusual. Most games (I played) have one.

Another "problem" are the ads. Personally I hate ads! I would prefer a paywall or at least a pay option for getting rid of the ads. I really like your game but even with this rarely ads I won't play this for long. I think ads ruining the playing experience! Of course you want make money and your work honored, but please give a chance to pay you with my respect (money) and not with ruining my nerves (ads).

• I played the first 4 levels and like the game so far! Very good graphics, very good gameplay und smooth music. Overall exact my type of game with the style I like

At home I will continue playing

Performance: so far so good! (Galaxy S5, Android 6). I think it's a fault to limit to android 6 or higher! If you will limit it to Android 7 I can't play it anymore. An this even if it runs smoothly on my Android 6. And the very same way I think you lock out potentially players of earlier versions.

Bugs:

In level 3 I will fall through the floor if I jump agains the first right wall, hold and release.

If I leave the game and then continue I have no longer fullscreen (in fact I can't leave the game, just press home. so it continues next time)

• Although it's not my type of game it was fun!

The graphics are outstanding und the whole game is made very well!

• Update 0.76:

• added camera zoom (experimental)
• reworked cat sprites
• Great graphics, I like them a lot!

• For another suggestion (pardon me), maybe improving on the cat's sprite animations? (from the game footage the cat looks kinda live-less to me) Other than that it's pretty much solid.

Good luck with your game!

Yeah, you're right. Unfortunately I'm not very good at pixel art. But I will try to improve the cat (what will lead to have to improve the other characters as well ). Thank you!

• This game will have success if you release it before Nintendo releases Mario Run

Oh I didn't see this coming, thank you!

If I don't manage to finish the game until the release of Mario I will never release mine because I'm to busy playing Mario

Apart from that mine will be much cheaper

Thank you for your feedback!

I'm afraid that it is too late to change the basic game behaviour, because then I have to redesign 40 levels. I thought about that longer-press-jump in the beginning and decided against it because the games that inspired me don't use it either. I guess because it makes things too complicated in this type of game. Btw: this type of game HAVE TO be frustrating - this is what makes the reward such a great feeling when you beat it!

One of its biggest role model is btw Jack n' Jill: https://play.google.com/store/apps/deta ... .jacknjill

This game got me addicted me from the first second! I can't recommend it enough!

• Thank you! Exactly what I need!

• Thank you for your feedback!

Do you talk about Level 7 when you say "not my personal preference to time avoidance of an enemy by bouncing off a wall then bouncing off another one to turn around again"?

Then I have to admin that especially this level is suboptimal. I will look for a better solution to avoid this enemy!

• I have searched this forum but didn't found anything.

What software do you use to record your trailers or gameplays? The only software I know is Fraps. But Fraps costs and I don't want spend money just for recording a game video. I don't need anything more than just recording the screen.

Can somebody help me?

Thanks!
