  • I would just use a new layout for this. Unless you wanted the screen to actually move from a top down perspective to a new perspective.

  • Hi guys. Its a very early test version to display features and bug tests. I fixed the issues causing major lag so that should be sorted out. Planning many more features. Bosses, New projectiles, powerups and levels. Right now this is the test for mobile

  • Thanks for the feedback guys. I've made note of all the things need fixing. I'll check the game in debug mode too see if that could be the problem. Could be my rain effect

  • Well Hello Guys! I'm working on my PC/Mobile game entitled Detergent Dan! I'm still sort of in the pre-design stages where I am working on the mechanics and such. But I am proud to say the majority of it is done!Most of my phase 1 graphics are complete and I have a working prototype. Give it a try and let me know your opinion. Also was wondering if anyone experienced lag?

  • Hello all, My game is a 2d Mobile platformer called Detergent Dan. "The Mighty Boss has cut all dish washing wages in half so he can buy new cooking equipment. The majority of the dish washers have come together to protest for higher wages. Because of this, the Bubble Sphere has been over ridden with bacteria, sludge, insects and dirty dishes. Who will defend the Sphere? Its up to Dan now to keep the dishes clean and restore order to the Sphere".

    You start off with a simple kids bubble wand toy. And eventually can upgrade your weapons. Though most weapons are powered by soap which can be collected throughout each level.

    Here is a quick preview of the simple dialogue system I created. Right now it operates on timers. auto switching to the next part of the story. At the end of the dialogue an exit button appears allowing the player to close the chat box.

    Bubbles seem to be a reoccurring theme in my game so I threw some floating bubbles in the Main menu!

  • So I have my main menu for a touch screen mobile game all on a separate layer names gui. At first I have been simply making the buttons visible when a player clicks on the menu button, and invisible when the click the exit sprite. But I have run into a problem. If I touch the part of the screen where the buttons are(even when set to invisible) the button gets clicked and the menu event is ran. So I have found that destroying the sprites will prevent this from happening and save cpu. But then how do I call the objects back into play when the player hits the menu button? I tried setting the obj sprite to visible to show them again, but once they are destroyed the visible setting does not work.
