  • Things like variables also count as events I think.

    Think less free, more demo.

  • I know Construct doesn't do 3d, so you're either using the worlds worst translator, of full of crap.

  • Thought this was spam.

I get ocr with events maybe, but ...this doesn't seem like the best choice.

    Good luck though.

  • Congratulations, I'm more confused than usual.

  • Looks like it cleans up on its own fairly well, at least on Chrome that is.

No idea what a large influx of extra textures would do, or if this has any effect on jank.

  • Demo version doesn't have z list.

Kinda need to figure out the incentives guys.

  • Alright, I'll give it a test, thanks.

  • If have an object that loads different local textures via url over and over without leaving a layout will that eventually run up my memory?

    Edit:

Or will garbage collection eventually take care of things?

  • You would just set its angle, or use the spesific behavior command set angle of motion.

Newt, what is ip locking? A white list of ip addresses your game may work on? (for example your own site and Newgrounds?)

And how do I set it up? Via the browser object? Or do I need custom javascript code for that?

Yeah using the browser object, but if they use a cdn it gets complicated.

  • Try Construct 3

Develop games in your browser. Powerful, performant & highly capable.

  • Its not going to be Kong. They've already said they have no interest in making their api serviceable for third parties, and Scirra has said they have no interest in working with that.

  • Nice colors, and you could use the blocks for other types of games besides platform.

  • A million views is a lot of lost income.

Its an idiotic requirement as they have zip investment.

Meanwhile someone else embeds your game, and makes money off of it.

  • The link is for web iap which didn't exist when the C2 plug came out.

Its the only service for in app purchases in html5 that I know of.

It should work on all platforms, as well as break all app-store policies, sans Amazon presumably.

So realistically all it can do is solve monetization for self hosting, and a possible way to deal with off-site embed theft.

  • that does look interesting. so this would mean we work through AWS? It seems like a whole other angle to Construct could be opened up if this were possible. Even using something like Paypal perhaps would also work? Whatever is easiest, but yea that would be pretty awesome to have. I wish there was something like parse for storing / saving data. I know it's generally "deep" to do online stuff but still fun to imagine it being possible.

Afaik it doesn't have anything to do with Aws, other than they are using Amazon servers to handle requests.

This seems to be just iap. You would use local storage, or some third party plugs for Parse, or Firebase, for storage.

I would add that Amazon is launching a leader board type service called GameOn, which seems to be platform agnostic.
