  • My second c2 thing - posted it to Scirra Arcade:

    http://www.scirra.com/arcade/action/4243/bastan-saves-the-day

Classic collect-stuff-within-time-limit game. Made it for Icelandic company Freyja manufacturing candies, as a part of their easter campaign.

Made in collaboration with Danni Svavarsson (tractor model), Ji Bjarnasson (sound) & Evana Kisa (gfx). I'm responsible for the idea + game dev + general art-direction + layout & worlds design (based on artworks made by Evana).

Controls: Left + Right + Up arrows to control the tractor. Enter to start the game/go to the next level. 'Haestu skor' link in the bottom stands for highscores.

    Well. Enjoy. :]

    All comments/advices are very welcome.

<font size="2">sidenote: there's a really annoying bug regarding the text object/usage of webfont and its position on the screen. level & score digits are a bit off - on mac they're ok. on a pc they're few pixels down. a bit more in chrome, less in firefox, but still, way off. anyone has a solution to that? anyway, i'm gonna post it on bugs forum later.</font>

  • I meant to have it Scirra Arcade site. For example, like so:

    <img src="http://i.imgur.com/MDubrbM.jpg" border="0" />

  • Definitely. There's 'Author' field in project settings already.

It could be expanded a bit with an option of adding multiple authors. And maybe 2 inputs per each author (name & task ie. graphics/animation/level design/ai/etc).

  • Actually not a bug, but a missing feature. It'd be nice if you've put a 'Credits' section onto the Scirra Arcade.

Well, you can credit all the authors/participants af a particular game in the description, but it'd be nicer to have a separate input/textfield for that.

  • hehe thx.

btw i've just put it up scirra arcade - http://www.scirra.com/arcade/action/3687/drunk-santa

  • Hiya.

Here's my first thing made with c2:

    midstraeti.is/2013

Goal is to balance the Santa, keep packages on his arms, for as long as you can. Left/right arrow to control.

I'm responsible for the idea + game dev & layout/elements design.

Made in collaboration with Danni Svavarsson (model/textures), Sigrun Hreins + Hjalti Hjalmarsson (video).

    Video here - midstraeti.is/2013

The whole thing was a kind of a Xmas card we sent out to our clients, after the first week of January. Main message, more or less, was 'Xmas is finally over so now Santa has time for some cool stuff.' Hope you like it. :]

Unfortunatelly I didn't have too much time for it, it was something in between other projects + I was learning the software while working on the game, so I know it flaws a lot. Nonetheless I'm quite happy with the result. :] All comments/advices are very welcome.

<font size="1">"Users with less than 500 reputation can't post links. We know this is a bit annoying,". oh yes, it is ;] so, just copy/paste the links

ps. sorry for doubling the post - by accident posted it construct classic forum already, but the game was made with c2</font>
