  • I have used NWjs as my viewport for run/testing Construct 2 files. I just upgraded to the latest release of Contruct2 and the latest version of NWjs but when running the layout, get the following error:

    Is anyone else having this issue? If so how did you resolve it.

    Thanks in advance,

    Michael

  • Here's my two cents for what it's worth, when you're dealing with the 'legal' ramifications of setting up a business be it single ownership, partnership or in your case an LLC, or and INC. and you need guidance, get it from an attorney. It's in your own best interest to have your business information and the information required by the various entities where you want to distribute to be checked by an attorney to make sure that you have all of your 'I's and 'T's dotted and crossed. An attorney can guide you as to the exact requirements of these various entities requirements specially if you don't fully understand the information they have provided. Remember the cardinal rule of business is that if it's a large entity like Google or Apple or Windows, someone with a legal degree has reviewed what they have published on their sites to the people who want to use their services and you should use one too, no matter how small you are to make sure you are both covered and your interests are protected.

  • This may be picky, but "Why???" isn't there a 'Search' on the homepage of the Website? It seems to me that, that would be a no-brainer. I'm always having to redownload my stuff and I can find that, but sometimes there are things or info that I'd like to search for or something will pop into my head that I think is applicable to Construct 2 but there's no search except at various places like the forums and in the store, why not on the site in general?

    Just a thought.

  • I would like to know, firstly if the NW.js module for Construct2 is integrated into the actual application or a separate application within the software? Secondly, I have a question about NW.js use and where I can find in depth documentation on it's use.

    Any help in answering these two questions would be appreciated.

    Thanks,

  • Hi, Just thought I'd let you know that the 'Mobie Monetization Course CJS' is no longer available at Udemy.

  • SOLVED! Thank you so much for your assistance. I did mis-read the instructions and apologize. I am working hard at learning this product and missed a step.

    Thanks again for your help

  • Hey everyone - Newbie to Construct2 here so be gentle <img src="smileys/smiley1.gif" border="0" align="middle" />

    Also, if this turns out to be a bug - then please move the topic to the appropriate forum or where ever it needs to be so that the correct people can deal with it. - Thanx.

    While using the Beginner's Tutorial, I've been noticing that the images in the tutorial don't match the images in my copy of Construct2, so I reasoned that my version is newer then this version. -- OKay, I'm all right with that issue. -- But, as I am following the Beginners Tutorial and got to the section about adding behaviors and noticed that the section that states:

    s with adding an event, we have our same list of objects to choose from, but this time for adding an action. Try not to get confused between adding conditions and adding actions! As shown, double-click the Player object, for it is the player we want to look at the mouse. The list of actions available in the Player object appears:

    With the following dialog image:

    <img src="http://entelone.com/images/playersetanglepos.png" border="0" />

    But when I open the Add Event Dialog in my version as shown in the following image:

    <img src="http://entelone.com/images/currentplayersetangle.png" border="0" />

    There is no choice available per the instructions in the tutorial. So I'm wondering if these choices are no longer available or if my copy of Construct2 is faulty, or is this tutorial (severely) out of date?

    I'd appreciate any help on this from anyone. Thanx...
