  • I'm interested in this - I'm a composer & sound designer, with lots of projects under my belt (including working with Scirra!).

My site is mjomusic.co.uk and if you'd like to chat my Skype is mjomusic.co.uk

    Many thanks!

    Matt

Edit - Just noticed how old this thread is!

I also created the original music and a selection of sound effects that are bundled with Construct 2.

I am currently accepting custom audio requests for the creation of original music for your game. Head over to MJOMusic.co.uk to see my portfolio of tracks, as well as original sound effects.

"Matt has a great work ethic, he provided bespoke high quality music and sound effects that matched our specification perfectly, and delivered them well ahead of our deadlines" - Thomas Gullen, Director Scirra Ltd.

    Thanks all!

  • I'm afraid I don't, but I'm working in Qu?bec, Canada. I'm curious to hear what kind of mod was that?

And no worries for the question, this is an AMA after all. :D

Ah maybe he was in France, not sure... We worked together on the Make Something Unreal contest on a mod called Atlantis. Quite a while ago now...

  • Hi there!

I'm Matt and I helped bring some of the music and sound effects to Construct 2. I've always had a love for gaming and years ago I entered the Make Something Unreal contest for UT2003 and worked on the mods Atlantis and Frag.Ops - although I was actually lead animator on both of those teams.

Anyway somewhere down the line I gave up animating and got back into music and here I am now. Graduated from the University of Hull with a degree in Creative Music Technology and set myself up as a freelance composer and sound designer and haven't looked back since...

Great to be part of Construct and it's awesome seeing what you guys can come up with!

    Thanks!

  • This is going to be a strange question, but have you worked with a guy called Florent Guillame at Ubi? We worked on a mod a few years ago and I heard he got a job there!

Apologies this is not a game design question...
