  • There are two extension requests I have. One is a print extension, that lets us print a zone on the screen, and another is a PDF extension, that lets us save an image (zone on the screen) as a PDF file, or other image file types.

  • Oh wow, this is so cool. I was thinking about learning Python a few weeks ago, and didn't start. Now I will! This is an incredible feature to add, and the best idea yet. I'll offer some suggestions as soon as I familiarize myself with the language.

  • YA! We can clone now! And the animation editor is getting better it seems. That is good.

  • Thank you very much ^_^

  • This is awesome! I've always wondered how to do this, and this going to help me a lot. Thank you for making this Arcticus <img src="{SMILIES_PATH}/icon_biggrin.gif" alt=":D" title="Very Happy"> .

EDIT: I did a search, and found this tutorial. Its for flash, but the concept is the same.

And here's what I came up with: anglebounce.cap

  • [quote:1snbijez]well that's an interesting idea! care to share what you are working on, mataza?

Well, its an experimental project for a bigger vision I have. Think Spore 2D + Knytt. Thats all I want to say right now, but I might start a dev log over at TDC, around mid December.

  • Thanks Arima <img src="{SMILIES_PATH}/icon_biggrin.gif" alt=":D" title="Very Happy" /> . Works perfectly!

  • Is there a way to change to angle or direction, of gravity, using the physics movement?

  • You can't retrieve the acceleration as far as I can tell.

  • This image shows what the layout looks like when rotated using the top-left pivot-point coordinates. If you wanted the layout rotating around a main character, the display would get messed up because the character is no longer in the middle.

    <img src="http://www.freewebs.com/jonnymataza/scirra/rotate1.png">

This image shows the display being rotated with a central (customizable?) pivot-point. If a character is supposed to be centered in the display, they stay centered as the layout rotates.

    I hope this helps clarify <img src="{SMILIES_PATH}/icon_biggrin.gif" alt=":D" title="Very Happy" /> .

  • I think a split screen view would be possible with the Layout Plugin, if I'm not mistaken as to what exactly it does.

  • Could there be an action to set the pivotal point, of Display Rotation? This would be very cool to have <img src="{SMILIES_PATH}/icon_biggrin.gif" alt=":D" title="Very Happy" /> .

  • and i

  • Wow this is great <img src="{SMILIES_PATH}/icon_biggrin.gif" alt=":D" title="Very Happy" /> . One of the first games made with Construct! It would be be cool if you make a motion blur effect when the billiard balls move, and maybe a pool cue, but in all great job!

    (***** stars, lol)

  • Sorry, Drasa <img src="{SMILIES_PATH}/icon_biggrin.gif" alt=":D" title="Very Happy" /> .

After opening and closing the sprite editor 8 times, Construct crashes. It get the following error messages:

    Runtime Error!

    Program: C:\Program Files\Scirra\Construct\Construct.exe

    R6025
    [ul]
    	[li]pure virtual function call[/code:3g1q30ar][/li]
    [/ul]
and then this 5 time in a row after:

[code:3g1q30ar]Construct.exe has encountered a problem and needs to close. We are sorry for the inconvenience.[/code:3g1q30ar]

Does this happen to anyone else besides Deadeye?
