  • That looks much much cleaner. I just tested it out and it works great.

    Just to help me understand the tool better I'm wondering if someone could explain why the last loop I attempted didn't have the same result.

  • The method that vtrix shared works well. Now I'm wondering if anyone has suggestions about a cleaner way to implement the solution so that it can scale to N number of objects.

    Right now there are 2 rotation dummy objects with balls spinning around them. This is how it's setup in the capx.

    I experimented with some different "For Each" loops with no success. Any suggestions?

  • Sorry, I don't quite follow. I'm not too experienced on the coding side of things.

    In the capx below there are 2 instances of the dummy object that are rotating at different speeds. The pin behavior doesn't allow me to specify which instance. All of the balls end up being attached to the 1st instance. I'm trying to find a way to have a 2nd set of ball rotate around the 2nd instance of the rotation dummy.

  • Is there a way to pin instances of an object to a specific instance of another object? I'm using a dummy object to rotate the balls in a circle and I want to be able to assign balls to different rotation dummy objects.

  • My goal is to become better at using C2 and I'm looking to see if anyone is interested in picking apart my Mustaroids project. There were times when it felt like I was fumbling around to get stuff to work. Do you think you have a cleaner and simpler solution than what has already been implemented? I would love to hear about it!

  • I did a quick test with the setup you're describing and it worked fine. Maybe there is something else in your event sheet that's causing the problem?

  • I played a couple rounds and it was pretty fun. I have a couple question/comments about the game.

    1. If I fly to the top of the screen I end up back at the "universe" screen. Is that intentional? I found this out by accident while try to run away from some enemies.

    2. I chose the easy setting and had trouble lasting more that 30 seconds. Maybe make easy mode a little easier.

    3. This one may be a personal preference, but after letting go of the accelerate button it would be nice to have the ship gradually slow down.

  • Hi wgfunstorm. Have you had any problems with Playtomic not loading or loading slowly? I used your plug-in in one of my projects and I kept running into issues where the browser would lockup because I tried to update text with non-existent Playtomic data. I ended up building an alternate set of logic to handle death/win screens when Playtomic doesn't load.
