  • Hi guys... I have a question.

    what is more performant for the entire game if I am building the platform environment where the player jumps arround:

    to make the platform from

    1 ) tiled map

    2 ) tiled background

    3 ) normal sprites

    Which option is the mest in ur opinion ?

    Other question:

    My player and enemies are arround 200*200 pixels with each 15-20 frames of animation... is that fine ...or too much ?

  • Hi i have vindows 7...

    It is really hard to work so much time, and see than on other pc or laptops that it becomes sometimes quite slow...

    So instead of a browser game maybe a desktop game will be a better idea ? what do U think ?

  • I tested it again...on firefox it was good...on chrome HORRIBLE... is there any setting to avoid that ???

  • Hi guys, today I tested my game on a medium-strong laptop from a personal url where I have uploaded the game...aaarrghhh... it was really slow on full screen :/

    On my pc which is quite strong , the game was always running offline perfectly. Even full screen.

    The laptop handels the game a bit better on reduced firefox screen.

    The other problem is this: Offline -on run layou-t from Cs2 the game is fine....but now with my same strong pc...online it is slower ...WHY ????

    My question is this: Is a Windows exported game faster than a browser game...or are they identical.

    Honestly I prefer to have a perfect running game on full screen but only windows, than all graphix reduced and running on browser or mobile ecc...

    I am a bit frustrated now... I tried to have all sprites arround 200*200 pixels... maybe a few I blowed up a bit... but If i reduce them i loose to many details of my graphics...

    I have read the performance tips.. but still I have performance problems as I could see today...

    any experince guys that U like to share for the window vs browser question ?

  • Hi guys...I would like to blink yellow the enemy if my player bullet hit's him...can i do that with flash ...or must I do a white sprite ?

  • Ah ok I maged it that was super helpful...how can i mange this :

    ...if the player hits from left the enemy, player bounces back left...if player hits enemy from tight,...it bounces to right side

    anyway thanks,,,that was awesome

  • Hi guys, somehow my Vector X is not working.....just a few pixels maybe....

    in another part the vector Y is doing fine...but here the vector X is not really working...obviously my fault...but why ?

    here is my code...it's like in super mario that after hiting the enemy, the player bounces away for a certain distance of pixels...

  • Hi guys..I have the same problem like ramones...why vector X is working just a few pixels only...I know there are other ways to move a collided player far from the enemy...but i would like to use vectors...any suggestion ???

  • Thanks I will try that ....how can I make my player move left a few pixels if it collides with enemy from right

    and move a bit right if it collides from left...I understand that it should be done with vector X...but how can I manage the right/left issue ?
