  • Good evening everyone! My name's Marco, a.k.a Marcomatic. I'm an Artist from Australia.

    After getting my hands dirty of late with Construct 2 It has so far been a great experience and I've started taking game development more seriously <img src="{SMILIES_PATH}/icon_e_smile.gif" alt=":)" title="Smile"> Here's My animated logo that shows at the beginning of the game. It's longer than most logo intros because it introduces the overall style of the game.

    The game is called 'Quill: Animated Minds' and it's about using the power of the imagination in the form of a weapon,

    How you did the bullet effect? shaders? they are wonderfull

    Just voted for it Very Vibrant atmosphere and engaging gameplay. I love how you've incorporated a great deal of special effects to really reward the player with every action they make. Very nicely done.

    I'm having issue with reloading Spriter content into construct 2. I keep getting a Javascript error whenever I start making adjustments to my animations. This never used to show up. It's only been happening since I updated to R210..

  • If you dont draw that well you can always try 3D software to create your graphics. Blender might be good? Im using 3D as well an exporting to images and image sequences.

    3D software can be a little tricky to learn, but check some tutorials and you should learn fairly quickly.

    It can be tricky to learn but it's a godsend and saves you hours of time redrawing characters

  • I tried a lot of programs but none of them was able to create anything.

    They tried: Inkscape, Krita, Gimp.

    The biggest problem is that I can not draw and no digital drawing board.

    Is there anyone here who has the same problem as me?

    if yes,then what did you do against the problem?

    Just practice man! That's all it takes! I've got some of my egg samples online It's all just dedication and practice: )

  • marcorocco Thank you! We are planning to release the playable pre-alpha somewhere around the 1st August, we really can't wait to let all of you play it and give us some feedback, that's a crucial thing for us now.

    Absofruitly! Can't weight to give it a crack!

  • 2015-07-18 Update

    What's new:

    -New enemy finished - The Mimic - A chest look-alike that starts jumping around when you get close.

    -More HUB graphics

    -First Unique Run Ability "Take-Off!" that gives you possibility to toggle between walking/flying
