    my full project weights 10 Mb. I reduced the size of the background and saved 3,5 Mb. That is 35% less. Isn't that important? How do you think

    I knew about this button, but it is called Export, so my first thought was Exporting out of the project, not converting for the project Rather than export, it might be better Called - Convert, no?

  • My background image is a JPEG file of 800 Kb. When exported, project converts it to PNG and it has 4 Mb size! How do I avoid this?

  • thank you for your reply! and what about the textbox? how the entered text will be actioned? or it is enough just to leave the text entered and the code above will include it into the global?

  • Clicking on these buttons, they set their names into the global variable. How do I make that the text entered by user in the textbox to be added to the same global variable, at the end of the previous list of words? I read the full manual on the TextBox but couldn't find a way on - how to at least add the text to somewhere?

    Here is my capx. If someone can please show me how to make it.

  • here is the modified capx to make a better understanding. what action I add for the Is on Screen condition , for the text name to be erased? I don't believe there is no such function to delete texts from globals!

  • to make c2 create each a time a temp copy of the global, when a new name is added , is easier than to add a command to the action which removes the sprite off the window?

    this is an event which makes the sprite appear and disappear from the window area. which command may I add to the first action in order to remove the name from the text?

    first action makes it stay out, second makes it be placed in a specific position inside the playing window.

    and two last things. what is the command to erase a name from the global string? in case the sprite is sent back out of the window. and how do I add space or comma between names or even better - how to I make each name written in a new row?

  • I am having 25 different sprites, and none of them have instances. I don't have any repeating object at all. My game consists of touching different buttons, which also don't have instances, and each button brings it's sprite in the window, all in the same position. What actions should I add to the event sheet in order to write down only the sprites that where placed in the window? With a button click , after all needed sprites are inside the window, I want a text to be created in a string and write down in it the names of these sprites. Than I do with the string what I need.

    What might be the email content format in order to display all the sprite names located at that moment on a layout? Plus a few lines of information that the user should enter in a text box? I need this very much, and if you can help me out, please.

  • My game consists of several layouts which are actively switching between each other, but the background music needs to be just a background music. Which setting I choose as a condition for the music file not to start over each time a different layout is switched?
