  • A0Nasser I have just 3 layouts --> 3 Bgs and around 10 to 12 btns overall. I also have 3 animations in the entire game in which around 70 sprites overall. Overall sprites size is around 8 MB, after C2 optimizes and all, the C2 file comes out as around 5 MB. After exporting Crosswalk, Game size is 25MB. And it is just a simple game with a clean AI. Image is where I could get attention on!!

    I am looking for some tips on optimizing the graphic sizes as my graphic files are bit huge at present for a game. I use loads of 3D, render as PNG, work in Photoshop and again save it as PNG. If someone has better options, please hit below.

    What tool you use and how much size you get for your bg and Icons approximately.

  • Aphrodite yes. I am asking it for mobile export especially for android now. I have also tried testing the game play in Android after exporting from CocoonJS, it worked fine.

    Fb integration and ads is what I am worried about if it is going to be cocoonJS.

    I am trying to store and restore the values from the above file. As I use the browser to test, once I refresh, the total collected stars is zero again. I wanted to save the data.

    I have tried using webstorage here. But it is not working properly.

    * I one which used "On start of layout" condition is to restore

    * and on the "Win level" condition, I tried to save the total collected stars.

    But it is not working.

    Help!!!

    I am developing a game with the help of this community (thanks to Scirra and people helped me so far) and now I am stuck in a place where I need someone to finish it up. Not much left but has couple of bigger things to set up. So If anyone interested PM me, I will explain more.

  • First Question. Getting Total Star counts in the Levels Page. I have attached the current Capx file here. For more details check the attached file, Layout LevelMenu.

    I think the second issue was solved KYATRIC. I made some simple changes with your file.

  • Thanks for the response Kyatric but the stars are not showing properly. I even added something to work for the arrows. May be I am doing something wrong.

    For the Question 1: What Wisdoms posted second time was fine BUT a small bug. If I finish my level 1 with one stars, Total stars collected says 1 stars. Again if i play the "level 1" and finishes with 3 stars, It should shows as 3 stars, but it is adding with that previous 1 star and says 4 stars.

    For the question 2: I even added 3 new sprites, arrow 1,2,3 in your file. And given cmd says, if I click the arrow 1,set value arrow =1.but the stars are not changing. Just showing one arrow always.
