  • Okay I'll do a hot fix for bone movement when I get home from work. Whats this lag issue?

    Thanks, David.

  • Are you talking about animations not working in sprites or in the bone movement?

    Bone movement.

If you want to see it in action, just download Rich's Bone Movement example.

  • [quote:89iaj4a7]The problem is, it does it in Rich's bone movement example as well, so I'm guessing it's not something I'm doing. If you want to see if it does it to you just download Rich's bone movement example. I also uninstalled and reinstalled Construct 0.98.4.

Still, there's no way to tell for sure if it's a bug unless you post a .cap. And it sounds to me like it might be an events thing, because I have never had any problem (or heard of anyone else having any problem) with their animations not stopping. And if you're making the same mistake with bone animation that you are with the sprite animation then yeah, it could do the same thing.

I'm not saying it's definitely your fault, it could very possibly be a bug... but the place to start is by describing what you're doing in the Help forum.

Thanks. I guess it would be okay to just post Rich's example, correct? His artwork's better than mine :p

I have a feeling that's not a bug... try posting your .cap in a Help/Tech thread.

The problem is, it does it in Rich's bone movement example as well, so I'm guessing it's not something I'm doing. If you want to see if it does it to you just download Rich's bone movement example. I also uninstalled and reinstalled Construct 0.98.4.

It was working fine before the update.

  • I agree with all of the above comments.

  • Thanks.

  • Thanks

  • My cap is doing it to. Any ideas?

  • Sounds good also.

  • Ok, thanks everybody for the answers.

I agree about the unlock/lock icon next to each object. That would be really nice!

  • Hi thanks for the reply .

I meant UNlocking certain objects, not locking them. Sorry if I wasn't clear.

"There isn't any "plugins database" at the moment"

    Thats what I kinda thought.

    Thanks

  • Hi I'm new here, and I really like Construct!

I "migrated" from Clickteam's MMF2. MMF2 was fine... Then I saw Construct..... and lets just say... it wasn't fine anymore .

I've been using MMF2 for about 2 years so I'm pretty decent with it, and migrating to construct is really not that hard considering it is so much like MMF2. Anyhow, to the point....

As a ex-user of MMF2 I'm used to using "extensions", which are "plugins" here. MMF2's extension database is fairly large, so I was wondering if there is any plugin database type thing for Construct, or if you just post them in the forums?

Also, how do you unlock a specific object (in MMF2 it was ctrl, shift, click)?

    Thanks in advance

  • I just switched from MMF2 and I have to say... Construct is WAY more powerful, and intuitive than MMF2. Thanks for the frequent updates!

    I pity Clickteam
