  • can you explain the ajaxdata portion or do you have an example I could see? I like the idea, just not sure how to implement it. Sorry I'm reasonably new to this part as I have been using the post to URL version for so long

  • Hmm, I thought that was the fix before but with 25 instances in there I thought I would be okay up to 25. This is what I get for assuming. Sorry to be a pain.

  • is there any reason that I would be limited to the number of words available? I seem to have trouble with any amount over 23 which isn't really a big deal right now but curiosity and all that gobblety gook. I am down a wonderful rabbit hole right now.

    I love the way you laid this out, my question is if I wanted to reverse the initial state of the words for example to have the words show up as visible after they have been typed in. My example is a game that would for example show 5 letters and you would type all the three letter words that used those letters (I currently have it set to complete at 10 correct answers).

    I can't seem to find what action needs to be changed and if I change the action of WordText > Set text to "" in the system > INPUT = WordText.Text I get the correct word to show as visible but then the same word can be entered multiple times.

  • bambang150 as I said it wasn't ever updated once it got pulled. It seems you're you looking for more of a finished product instead of a template. Not sure if it's okay to post so if you look at some of the full game version sites there is a user selling a full working version that you can just change the theme to. If not Alextro's example is a great starting point to build your own and get more familiar with Construct.

  • bambang150 Korbach's link was never updated but the download for Alextro's example works great as a template. It is a static grid so you will populate it yourself.

  • alextro did you manually create your grid? I'm trying to figure out how pick a random set of words then build the grid off of that but from all I've seen in my searching, it looks like they have all been built manually.

    Ok I realize a lot of new members don't know how to implement a hi-score save and most tutorials don't work. So Iam posting the full version of my DK lost levels game that I made for Android here is the Capx. file. I separated the event sheets so my events should be super clear to understand. Any questions just ask but try first before asking.
