My need is for the user to be able to set the speed of 1 or more variables prior to the game. or would this be better to do within construct setting the variable values at start of game?

.just use the browser execute javascript function... plus this topic is from 2011 and OP is never seen online since then

Thanks, I thought I saw recent activity but I was searching two topics and it was the other.

  • Lima I didn't do login, mine was just a quick post on load. Did you set up your mysql database and follow the steps in the tutorial? If you want to pm me with login creds to your db and the capx I can look at it.

If the plugin/ behavior has a .c2addon you can drag and drop it into the editor itself.

Otherwise you need to go to the construct 2 install folder, find the folders of plugins or behaviors and copy the plugin/behavior in depending on what it is

Where do you have it installed? to <install path>\exporters\html5\plugins?

  • I actually figured it out by rewriting by hand and making the images larger. Example below

  • Try Construct 3

  • I am having a similar issue, I only need to post to the database, i don't need to show results in layout. My problem is it will work once, then the next time I load the page it no longer posts when I submit. I have followed the high scores tutorial and the login one. Both are pretty straight forward.

My ultimate goal is to have it so upon either start up or completion of load of my final end game layout I would like it to post the score to the database without having to hit a submit button.

I can upload a capx if need be.

    Thanks in advance.

  • Ugotsta - I downloaded the beatbox but it no longer seems to work, have you tested it recently?

  • Have you made one that can either step edit or record say an 8 bar pattern?

    Documentation:

This application is controlled by both touch/click and keyboard. The higher a key is, the lower its velocity (making, for example, the quietest Kick trigger the letter Q and the loudest trigger the letter Z). Three stages of velocity are available for each pad. I started developing this drum pad as a mobile-exclusive application until I realized it could be more useful with a keyboard for velocity control.

    Controls:

    Q A Z: Kick

    W S X: Clap

    E D C: Snare

    R F V: Crash

    T G B: Open Hi Hat

    Y H N: Closed Hi Hat

    U J M: Rim

    I K ,: Tom

    O L .: Clave

    1 2 3: Cowbell

    Bonus: 909 Edition
